Life at Pragati Engineering Institute will be very good. Faculties are well qualified. The institute atmosphere looks good. Personal care will be taken on every individual for his or her individual development. Course curriculum and trending skills are taught at institute. Particular care over placements and effectively working with the career development team will be there. Lectures guide us in every part of the semester. The institute’s faculty, career development team, and institute atmosphere, along with the number of placements, made me choose this institute. The technical clubs and internal hackathons, along with technical fests, are conducted in a new way that made me choose this institute.

I chose Computer Science & Engineering along with Artificial Intelligence because of the current boom for the Artificial Intelligence in the software market and demand for this course made me choose this institute. To get a seat in this institute one should pass the EAPCET examination with good merit. Individuals should meet the cutoffs specified by the institute management in order to secure a seat in this institute. Admission process happens through counseling process. Students need to submit required documents of their secondary and intermediate education. There will be units in each subject for every unit lecturers will conduct a class text and for every 2 months there will be a mid. Later, final semester exams will be conducted.

Fee for my course is Rs. 63,000 when I joined. Currently, Rs. 78,000 is a standard fee for 4 years. Training & placement fee is Rs. 15,000 for every year. Students also have to pay separate transport fee if they opt for the transport services from college.

Faculties are well qualified and they teach the subject at possibly high level. They will be ready to assist us regarding the subject at any point of time. They teach subject visually through projectors, lab will be explained carefully, and students are insisted to do it on their own to gain knowledge. Faculty members are having PhD in their subjects. They use everything like blackboards, PPTs, and group discussions. Faculty’s problem solving abilities are good. There will be one lecturer for every subject among 72 students. My bonding with faculty is good. they are very encouraging and supportive in terms of academics and extracurricular activities.

There is a placement cell at Pragati Engineering Institute. It is named as Career Development Centre. This helps students by conducting classes on aptitude, verbal ability, and group discussions. Along with that, they also conduct training sessions on programming languages where training faculty will teach the students from basics to problem solving. They will send the links in groups for placement registration. They will work very effectively. Accenture, Big works, Tech Mahindra, Autodesk , HP, etc. Average CTC is 4.5 LPA and highest is 40 LPA. It was good experience and i got a placement. CDC team will be very supportive.

Yes, institute has residential facilities for boys. There is no hostel facility for girls though. However, outside the institutes there are many PGs. For boys, there will be 4 sharing and 3 sharing rooms. There is a gym available in institute. Mess food is good. Hostel fee for every year is currently Rs. 90,000. Electricity bill will be separate and should be paid by student. If a student wants to go out, they should take permission from hostel in charge.

There will be a CSE block, ECE block, Mechanical Block, and Civil Block. Campus is located in 25.2 acres. Every classroom will have seating capacity for 80 members along with a projector. There will be well developed Canteen, sports hours, sick room will be there along with a nurse for medical support. Library is my favorite spot in the institute. Projectors and labs will complement course teaching.

The overall campus life is wonderful. The institute crowd has more than 7k students. There are many clubs like Toastmasters for English development, IOT club, Metaverse club , Robotics club, AIML club, Basement blues club, etc. The clubs are run by students under the supervision of faculty. These clubs help in developing the students’ personalities and inculcate leadership quality in them. Vocal skills of students will be improved. Extracurricular activities are encouraged by institute management like project fairs and small events proposed by students will be taken into consideration and will give permission to conduct them. Every year Strides a group of technical events will be conducted, Sankranti celebrations, Prism will be conducted. Along with that small celebration for every festival will be done. It was great experience.
