My Views About Malla Reddy College of Engineering, Secunderabad

Overall Rating
I have chosen this college for JNTUH affiliation and the certificate from JNTU. Coming to the course I have selected is Artificial Intelligence and Data Science in B.Tech. it is the new course which have many career options and bright future. This college offers many courses but this is the best one that I thought. But there are no placements offered by the college.
 

Academics Rating
We can take admission at Malla Reddy College of Engineering by management quota and convener quota by writing EAMCET exam and attending the counselling session. The course I have chosen has the best curriculum. For every 4 months a semester exam will be conducted and for every 2 months one midterm exam will be conducted including lab internals and externals. Pre-final examination is also conducted before the lab external exams for the sake of student’s perfection.
I am paying Rs. 95,000 per year due to no scholarship for general category students. While OBC/BC students get Rs. 35,000 scholarship from the government and SC/ST category students get full reimbursement from the government. They will pay Rs. 5,000 as miscellaneous fee every year to the college management.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty and HoDs at Malla Reddy College of Engineering of every department are well qualified and educated. Some of them have Ph.D. after getting the R22 regulation from JNTU the college changed a lot in academics. Lecturers will support the students in all possible ways and we have digital classrooms for teaching. PPTs are used for the explanation in classes. For every 100 members of students there are 2-3 teachers in the campus.
 

Placement Rating
Placements and internships at Malla Reddy College of Engineering are currently not there in our campus. But the management is trying to get many companies to the campus from past 2 years.
 

Hostel Rating
At Malla Reddy College of Engineering hostellers get a good accommodation with food for the fee they paid. It costs around Rs. 90,000 per year. Wi-Fi, gym and dance facility is available in the hostel. Permission will be not given for outing without permission from parents. We have separate hostels for girls and boys.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Coming to the infrastructure of Malla Reddy College of Engineering, it is not bad but we have no ground for sports. There is a small canteen. Most people don’t like it and we have a good library with lot of books. This is a small campus with only 4 small blocks in it. There is no auditorium for conducting events and hackathons. Campus is located at Maisammaguda, Secunderabad
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is not bad because we can chill out with friends. College crowd will be less when compared to other Malla Reddy campuses. Fests will be not conducted regularly at Malla Reddy College of Engineering, Secunderabad. No clubs are there to participate in extracurricular activities. NSS unit is there in the campus and NCC is not there. Annual day will be conducted every year in the campus.
