All About MSEC Ramanathapuram: My Honest POV

Overall Rating
I chose this college because it's in my hometown. Speaking about overall experience, atmosphere is good are there are many trees. The college looks green but in summer it will be very hot because of the place the college is situated in but in winters, it is quite good and pleasant.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics Engineering because this course has a very good scope in foreign countries importantly gulf countries like Dubai, Qatar, Abu Dhabi, etc. Entry requirement in ECE branch is minimum 90% cutoff for counseling seat. For management seat there is no minimum cutoff requirement. Admission process of MSEC Ramanathapuram is simple, you have to visit the college with original documents and submit Rs. 500 as registration fee. Academics prepare me well for the real life challenges.
Fee for ECE branch students is total of Rs. 56,650. In that, tuition fee is Rs. 50,000 and miscellaneous fee is Rs. 6,650. Government scholarships are provided to the eligible students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are good. They are so helpful and motivating. Most of the faculty members have done PhD. Their method of teaching varies from subject to subject. According to that, they tend to use blackboard, PPTs, and group discussions. The problem solving abilities of faculty is good. The teacher to student ratio to the college is 1:25 approximately. The faculty members are so approachable except for some staff members.
 

Placement Rating
Placement opportunities are good. Placement related programs are conducted frequently. Companies like Techsible IT Solutions, and TCS have given placements to the students. Average package is around 2 LPA and highest package is 8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The college offers hostel facilities for students. Hostel rooms need some maintenance work and number of students would be 200. Girl’s and boy’s hostels are separate. Mess food is also not up to the mark though.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of MSEC Ramanathapuram is average. Campus is very big and two buildings are there. classrooms are average. Seating capacity of the classrooms is around 60 students. Library, seminar hall, and labs are available for each department. One big auditorium is also there. Medical facilities are available. Library is my favorite place in college campus.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is far good. In 1st year, there are around 300 students including all departments. Clubs are available for each department. Extracurricular activities are there for first year students. Fests or events are conducted once a year. My experience of the campus life is average. Pongal festival is also celebrated every year.
