Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies: Experienced Faculty and Quality Education

Overall Rating
Firstly, students who secured highest SSC marks in their district are eligible for the admissions in Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies. I have chosen this institution due to its stress free environment, well trained faculty, support and encouragement for sports along with the academic aspects, there are also music, dance and yoga classes. This institute is to help the poor students with a great knowledge and skills. The one thing different from other colleges is from the intermediate time itself; they make the students get familiar with the B.Tech environment.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. To choose the branch of our interest, one should score a good rank in the overall Pre University Course, and the category of the student also matters at the time of branch allocation. There are 2 semester for each academic year and 3 mids, and 4 ATs for each semester. The question papers are good and challenging enough for our knowledge.
The tuition fee at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies for B.Tech is around Rs. 50,000. The mess and hostel fee are around Rs. 20,000 – Rs. 30,000. The whole fee is given by government itself for eligible students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies are highly experienced. Most of the faculty members are graduated from IITs and also completed their M.Tech. Some of the faculty completed Ph.D also. The faculty is student friendly and can clear any kind of doubts. They also encourage and guide students for building projects, participate in hackathons and so on. At first there is lot of faculty, but in the present days, there is a need of some more faculties to teach.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell names CDPC which take care of all the student's placements. They conduct drives and interviews for the selection process. The companies currently visiting our college are Edubot, Test Sigma, Shopsy, Vedantu, Tech Vedika, etc. The average salary range is 5 to 8 Lakh Per Annum.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel environment is so good at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies. The rooms are clean and spacious. 24 hours electricity and Wi-Fi are provided. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The food is good in hygiene. The mess timings are: 7 to 10 AM (breakfast), 12:15 to 2:30 PM (lunch), 5:15 - 6:15(snacks), 7 - 9 PM (dinner), the menu is also good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The academic blocks at Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies are well constructed, and very big. There are projectors in every class. Wi-Fi is available in the ground floor classes. In some classes, LAN cables are also available. Seating capacity of each classroom is 60 to 70 members. Large Central library is also available. There is SAC (Student Activity Cell) for events, it also contains auditorium. All basic buildings like hospital, police station, post office, and bank are available here. Canteen is present in both boys and girls hostel to buy necessary things, and there is a food court for food.
 

Campus Rating
There are around 1100 members for each batch, total 6 batches are there (PUC+ B.Tech), and so the total strength might be 6K - 7K. There are different clubs like SDCAC, Student Mitra, Helping Hands, NSS, and NCC for the students to improve their communication, leadership, organizing, and management skills. There are two major fests of our college. They are Teckzite (a tech fest) and Cygnus (cultural fest).

    It feels amazing to be a student of RGUKT. The life at RGUKT is a once in a lifetime experience because the institute provides free and quality education for the students of rural areas.     Basically ours is an autonomous university with strict rules. So there is no ragging in our university. Because of that at our junior time we peacefully studied. Our college is in the hilly area, so it is covered with trees and greenery. Hostels are very good but not cleanliness maintained. We have so many student clubs also and fests.... Read Full Review

    The main reason why I choose this institution is it is a six years integrated B.Tech course. We can study six years at only one place which is more comfortable. We can create more and more memories with our beloved friends and faculty. And also here our seniors treat like their friends and siblings. And faculty too treats us like their kids.
