Dyal Singh College Prepares Students for UPSC Success

The overall experience at Dyal Singh College was very good because of lots of extracurricular activities. The quality of education was also excellent as it helped in gathering external knowledge instead of only getting bookish knowledge. I chose this college for my education because it was one of the best colleges for Geography Honors and other courses related to UPSC preparation. My college also provides advance academics that no other college in general provides. It is also good for NCC training apart from academics.

I chose this course because I wanted to pursue UPSC and this course is very helpful for that. This course is also good for analyzing external data of the areas and geographical data. The academics prepared me very well for the real life challenges that are related to my academics and also about few other fields. The entry requirements for my college are now from CUET and you have to get about 95 percentile to get into my college for good courses.

The fee of my chosen course was about Rs. 15,000 each year. Yes, the college provides many scholarships, which comes under University of Delhi.

All the facilities and teaching members were very good for my course. The background of the faculties are also good as they have completed their graduation from top colleges and also too good in their own fields. Their method of teaching was combination of theory and practical, which enhances our learning potential and interest in that subject. They also use different methods of teaching for interacting with the students and for making their understanding better.

The campus has two blocks, 1st one was new academic block, and the other one was new academic block. The campus size is in 1×1 square KM. The class size is enough to have about 60 students properly. There is one auditorium, one sports complex, one library, and other different labs for different courses such as Chemistry lab, Physics lab, and Biology lab. There is also one research center in Dyal Singh College.

My overall campus life was very well as all the students have competitive attitude and lots of knowledge, as they all were very good at academic that is why the environment is full of knowledgeable and smart people. There are many different societies and I was part of one of the society named cultural society, which helps in organizing any cultural fests and programs in the college. In my college not many fests happens as compared to main campus.
