Fee Structure and Admission Process at SCET, West Godavari

Swarnandhra College of Engineering and Technology is a very good and pleasant place as it is surrounded by green fields and trees. It has peaceful environment that is suitable for efficient learning and college has high standard academic syllabus, which aligns with practical experience. Students can engage in sports along with academics. There are no restrictions on students to only focus on studies. College hosts other extracurricular activities like hackathons, singing, dancing, tech events, and essay writing competitions. Ragging is not allowed in the college.

I would like to share my experience as an ECE student from starting to ending. I chose ECE stream in engineering because of my interest in electronics and communication applications. Now a days we can see how the ece domains are going to developing. Firstly, we need check the cutoff rank for selection process and choose the ECE in web options or if you have not scored enough then you can go through management quota or NRI quota. ECE students of 1st year will have basic intermediate subjects including labs. From second year onwards, core subjects are going to be introduced. Students have 2 mid examinations and 2 practical exams. after that semester exams will be conducted with one-day gap between each exam. The semester duration will be upto 6 months.

The admission fee will be Rs. 8,000. Next, if you want to stay in hostel then you need to pay Rs. 10,000 for joining. For EAPCET qualified students, the government pats the tuition fee. The management students will pay the amount of nearly Rs. 1,00,000 within frequent durations. There is discount for single parent, lower middle class, and merit students. Hostel fee is nearly Rs. 80,000 and transport fee depends on your stop distance.

The faculty members are well trained and educated with higher qualifications i.e. Doctorate. The faculty members use PPTs and smart boards to teach students. Faculty follows various methods like group discussions and jam sessions to cultivate creativity in students. Their interactive lectures and practical methods enhance the learning capabilities. The friendly bond between students and teachers with lot of respect is very important for stress free learning. No stress and abuses are allowed from faculty side.

Placement cell plays a key role in college and students development. Placement cell faculties are trying hard to bring companies to employ students. Package offers starting from 4.5 LPA to 40 LPA. They arrange training programs and mentorships.

The college provides separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel rooms are very clean and hygienic. The rooms are surrounded by green gardens with playground. The hostel rooms have 4 members per room without attached washrooms. Per day, 4 proper meals are provided with drinks.

The college was built by number of blocks separated by flower gardens. The blocks are sectioned according to the departments i.e. ECE, CSE, Mechanical, Civil, Robotics, and Management Block, Account Section, Examination Block. There are other department blocks like MBA, MCA, etc. There is a temple of Ma Saraswati at the centre of college. Wide playground, gym, indoor game rooms are available. Parking slot is arranged distant from the classrooms within the campus. The campus is routed with roads and good drainage systems.

My college life is very enthusiastic and always exciting. Experienced faculty, practical explanations green environment, stress free academics along with social welfare NSS, colors Acharana organizations made complete college life. Tech events and fest are conducted frequently for every 3 months. There is so much in college to learn and experience with friends and students. Especially NSS helps the needy in the form of blood donations, food and cloth distribution and celebrating socialistic days remembering the great leader’s sacrifices.
