After completing my higher education in the science stream, I chose Khandelwal Vaish Girls Institute of Technology in my hometown Jaipur which is affiliated with the University of Rajasthan. The college is located in Vaishali Nagar which is a densely populated city area. The education at the institute is affordable as it is a smaller campus that only provides admission to girls. Being an all-girls college it has been prominent in giving quality education to women of all ages and backgrounds. I have completed my bachelor of Science from this institute which has been a great experience of three essential years of my academic journey. I would recommend this college to all the girls who are looking for an affordable institute to complete their graduation, post-graduation, and PhD. The vast number of courses offered at KVGIT gives opportunity to the girls to have access to higher education in any field.

The popular courses that are offered at the KVGIT college are B.Sc, B.Com, BA, BCA, M.Sc, M.Com, MBA, etc. The subjects included in these courses have a variety of options as well. The students who wish to pursue a bachelor's course must be 12th pass out from any recognized board. There is no minimum percentage required to be eligible for admission. The master's courses however require the student to have a bachelor's degree in a relevant subject. There is no minimum requirement in master's courses as well if the student has completed a 3-year degree from any recognized university or institution. With a professional education system and experienced teaching staff, the college promises to provide its students with a high of education. There are various short-term courses internships that are introduced every year to the students. Besides academic education, the institute has tie-ups with banking and finance agencies that hold seminars and webinars for the students of Khandelwal Vaish Girls Institute of Technology. For well-oriented education, KVGIT is the ideal college for girls.

The teaching staff at Khandelwal Vaish Girls Institute of Technology is experienced, qualified, and licensed for providing college-level education to students. There are different faculty members for each course and class. This diversity helps the college in providing uninterrupted and custom class schedules for all students. Some of the teachers are pursuing higher education themselves by engaging in development courses, PhD, Research, etc. The faculty has the knowledge required for teaching students of bachelor's and master's courses in a college. The staff also encourages the students to participate in extracurricular activities. They organize various competitions and interclass activities for the holistic development of the students. The faculty of my batch during my studies was greatly helpful in solving our queries and guiding us for a better future. The friendly behavior of the teachers led us to be more enthusiastic and disciplined in the premises.

There is a newly established placement cell that comprises the best teachers from the faculty. Initially, the cell was committed to guiding MBA students in finding prospect jobs and internship opportunities. But it has since evolved to cater to students of all streams and courses. They help the students to apply for work opportunities as well as various courses that will help in building their resumes. As the placement cell was not active during my studies at the institute I do not have any personal experience but I have heard only positive reviews from my juniors.

The campus has an entire floor of the main building dedicated only to hostel students. As the college only has girl students the hostel is situated on the very top floor of the main building. The safety and security of the students residing on the campus are taken care of by the guards and camera systems in the lobby and main entrance gates. There is one middle age couple appointed as the warden for the girl students who live in the hostel. The wardens are responsible for providing items of basic necessity and food to the students. Hygiene and sanitation are also taken care of by the cleaning staff of the hostel. Each room has two single beds, two study tables, and one double-door wardrobe for students. Two girls can share one room in the hostel. The combined bathrooms are available at the end of the lobby for all the students. The hostel has its rules and regulations which the students have to abide by. The hostel fee which includes the rent of the room, food expenses, and basic amenities are required to be paid either in full during the admission or in installments throughout the academic year.

The Khandelwal Vaish Girls Institute of Technology is located in Vaishali Nagar the 200 feet bypass road. It is a walking distance from the petrol pump and police station of Vaishali Nagar. The campus has two buildings one of which is the main campus building. The entrance to the main building leads to the reception area and waiting lobby. There are 3 floors in each building which have various classrooms, practical labs, a library, washrooms, common areas, etc. The basement of the Main building comprises the canteen of the college and recreational spaces such as the games room and dance room. The two buildings are connected by the basement lobby. The second building has a newly built auditorium and some more labs on the upper floors of the building. The premise also has separate parking spaces at the entrance. The front lawn and garden area are also well maintained where students and teachers take a stroll during recess. Overall the campus is small but efficient and serves the purpose wholly.

Life at Khandelwal Vaish Girls Institute of Technology is quite inspiring and fun. The students of different courses mingle well together and have friendly competitions throughout the academic journey. Various sports and games are also organized for students who are into physical activities. There are teams for kabbadi, volleyball, kho-kho, etc. The canteen area is the most popular among students to take a break and chill with their classmates. the students who are into dance and singing also spend their time in the basement room practicing for different events which take place inside and outside the college. The library has a collection of essential course books, magazines, novels, preparation guides, and newspapers for the students. It used to be my favorite spot for studying as it gave me a focused space for exam preparation. The students that resided in the hostel were also content with the facilities provided to them. The campus rules can be strict with their no phone policy but campus life is equally fun if spent with friends. The college gives space for students for mingling and has fun on the premises.
