Overall Rating
I chose ISHM Kolkata because I wanted to study Aviation Management. This is one of the best colleges that have Aviation Management course. My experience so far in the college has been a pleasant one. The faculty is quite nice, helpful, and the professor are quite knowledgeable and has experience that is a plus point.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Aviation Management as a course because I have always been curious about this particular sector as it’s a huge sector with various departments. It makes me want learn about more about the aircrafts and airport management. For taking admission in the college, you have to 12th pass out, doesn't matter what percentage. In the college, you have to give a written and sometimes a verbal exam to pass the test.
My course is quite costly because it's an Aviation. For 3 years, my fee is Rs. 3,90,000.
 

Faculty Rating
In ISHM Kolkata, there are professors from different background such hotel, tourism, and Aviation sectors, which is quite helpful for students because we get a lot of knowledge from them regarding different fields. The faculty is quite experienced which is a plus point for us as they guide us and teach us how to enter our respective industries. How to manage ourselves to be more discipline, how to properly groom ourselves, and present ourselves in front of others.
 

Placement Rating
We do get good placements from our college. In our 3rd year we are quite groomed properly and prepared, ourselves for the interview that help us get the job.
 

Hostel Rating
We do get hostels from ISHM Kolkata and it is good. The area where it is situated it us nice the food is tasty as well. It’s quite affordable as well Rs. 6,500 in a month.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our college is situated in a good locality. The building of college is quite nice as well. The rooms are quite spacious and with AC as well which is a plus point. There is library where we get various types of books that are quite helpful for the students. We have various events at college as well like sports day, and teacher’s day to various festivals are celebrated as well.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is great. We have different fests, where we students from different course and batch unite together to participate in it. We get prizes as well. We celebrate sports day where different sports are played and the winner gets the prize, it's nice event where we enjoy ourselves with our batch mates and teachers. There are festivals such as Sarswasti Puja is celebrated as well others in the college.

    To be honest, my overall experience is pretty good in ISHM Kolkata. All the faculties are very experienced. Many facilities are provided by this college, which the other aviation colleges in Kolkata don't provide like the on-ground trainings, firefighter trainings, ramp management, etc. giving students a great opportunity to learn practically and attentively....     There are so many Aviation colleges in Kolkata like JT Aviation, Frankfinn Institute, etc. The main reason due to which I chose this college was its training facilities is provided by this college only. No other aviation college in Kolkata provide this kind of on ground training facilities like fire fighting trainings, on air flying experience, handling real life emergencies etc. This was the reason of selecting this college over the other aviation colleges....
