BCDA CPT Barasat: Fee Structure and More

BCDA CPT Barasat is one of the finest Pharmacy colleges in West Bengal in terms of academic facilities and affordability. This college has lower course prices than comparable private institutions. Our college has well-qualified faculty. It is also a completely ragging-free college. All the teachers are PhD qualified and have a great skill in teaching and guiding students to their career path. Campus life of our college is also very good and refreshing.

The Pharmacy course content is highly relevant. The course covers drug chemistry and biology. We need to study Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Pharmaceutics, which impacted my decision to do this course. The test is given once every six months and has a moderate difficulty level. Our college admits students according on their WBJEE rank, with a 10% management quota. WBJEE is the most popular test for admission to B.Pharm. If your rank is less than 25k, you will have no difficulty getting into this college. After four years of study, we have eight semester tests, and our college's semester exams are quite difficult. The syllabus is extensive and includes practical tests. This college's academic content is both relevant and high-quality. Our college develops high-quality pharmacists.

B.Pharm is a four-year study with eight semesters. This college charges Rs. 45,000 in every semester. So you'll be paying around Rs. 90,000 every year. The total course fee throughout my time has been Rs. 3,57,000 rupees, which includes all library and sports expenses.

BCDA CPT Barasat has superb faculty members. Every faculty member is competent. Our institution has 28 faculty members and 100 students enrolled in the B.Pharm degree. The faculty members are kind, approachable, and helpful. They answer the student's difficulties in a very nice manner. Dr. Sailee Choudhary, Sudipta Chakraborty, Pallab Dasgupta, and Saswati. T. Sasmal are some of our college's top faculty members. They have a solid grasp of their topics and instruct students very respectfully.

Placement sessions for our B.Pharm course begin after the seventh semester. Our institution provided placement in a variety of renowned pharmaceutical businesses, including Alkem, Torrent, Cipla, Zydus, Glenmark, Mendine, and Stassenbarg, in positions such as manufacturing, QC, and marketing. Our college's average package is between 1.8 and 2.5 LPA, with the highest package being 3.5 to 4.5 LPA. 40 to 45% of students opt to further their education. My intention is to pursue for higher education after receiving my B.Pharm degree. Our course curriculum includes a one-month industrial training in pharmaceutical companies. BCDA CPT Barasat provided industrial training in a variety of firms including Gluconate, Aurio, Alkem, and Albert David.

Our college does not have a dormitory facility. However, there are several PG and hostels in the surrounding area. Our neighborhood is really safe and secure, and it has stores and cafés.

The infrastructure of the college is well maintained. All the academic facilities are provided by the college. Our college also has excellent laboratory and library facilities. In my fourth year, study I don't need to buy a single book as all the books are available in library. The library includes a supply of 10,000 to 12,000 books and journals.

Every year, our college hosts an annual sports event, as well as a conference and a short seminar in every 3 to 4 months. BCDA CPT Barasat has a great extracurricular program, and we earn merit points by participating in these events.
