Candid Views on GNIOT Greater Noida

Overall Rating
I can say that overall review for GNIOT Greater Noida is average. I took admission here because I wanted to do B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering. I also took admission here because some of my friends are also studying here.
 

Academics Rating
For being eligible to take admission in this institute, student must have aggregate of 60% or above with PCM in 10+2 and must have appeared in JEE Main. After giving this exam, one needs to participate in AKTU counseling to take admission here. Management quota seats are also available here. There are 2 class tests & 1 pre university exam in every semester followed by end semester exams.
The tuition fee for B.Tech course is Rs. 91,370 per year. After including other charges, it becomes Rs. 1,55,700 per year. You can get scholarship if you are from Uttar Pradesh. The amount of scholarship is around Rs. 55,000.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is good. They provide every possible help to the students. Some of them have PhD degree. Their teaching methods vary from each other but in general, they use books, PPTs, and smart boards.
 

Placement Rating
From 6th semester onwards, students can sit in placement drive, which is arranged in campus. One can also apply for off campus also. Many companies like Oracle, Infosys, TCS, and Tech Mahindra visit campus and recruit skilled students.
 

Hostel Rating
Since I am not a hostler. I am day scholar so I do not have much knowledge about hostels. However, I have heard that hostels are average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of GNIOT Greater Noida is above average. Campus size is compact. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned and the seating capacity is around 60 to 70 students per classroom. Many facilities like library, labs, and virtual labs are available in the campus. There is one canteen and one cafeteria is available in the campus. Students can go there and enjoy with their friends. Transport facility is also available by bus but there are charges for that. Library is big and you can go there and read any of the books. Every classroom is air conditioned and smart board and projector i available in the classroom.
 

Campus Rating
Many events like Fresher’s party, Founder's day, and tech fests are organized here. Campus life is good here.

    My overall experience in this Institute is very good with faculty and all the faculty members are great here. The fees are decent and many certification courses are also available here. There is one thing that is different is the quality of education. There are also soft skills and aptitude course that help in getting jobs. Training classes are also held which teach advance coding.     Overall, the institute provides a friendly environment and infrastructure to the students. The teachers are familiar with the current technical trends and teach us accordingly. The professors always complete the syllabus on time and always help us throughout the subject. From first year students to the last year, all the students are provided training for aptitude and soft skills along with the aid in publishing research papers and mini projects in second and third year....     GNIOT’s engineering is quiet good, the placement scenario are also good like 60% to 70% students get placed here. Mass recruiter companies like TCS also visited the college and some students got placed in other reputed companies in off campus placements through GNIOT Alumni network.     G.N.I.O.T. is good in terms of academics, because the placement is quiet good about 70% of students get placed.
