RJIT Gwalior at a Glance: Student’s Viewpoint

Overall Rating
My overall experience in RJIT Gwalior is pretty average. College is decent with average area. Teachers are also decent. You can take help from teachers. According to fee, I say it is good. It is BSF funded college.
 

Academics Rating
I am currently in CSE branch. You should choose the branch wisely and one thing in next few years a new branch of AI-ML will start. Students can join this institute through many ways that are JEE, non-JEE, BSF Quota, MP Quota, all India Quota, etc. Taking admission is quite easy as I have see student of JEE rank more than 9 Lakh. In B.Tech course, there will be 8 semester and in every semester there are 2 mid semester and one end semester exam
The fee of the college is very less according to other colleges. There is a discount for children of BSF Martyrs.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is average. Generally all the teachers are in this college for 15 or even 20 years. Some teachers use PPTs but most of them use black board. Some are cooperative teachers and some are very strict. If you have any doubt, you can go to teacher’s cabin and ask them in the college time.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell in the college. The placement rate has decreased significantly after Covid-19. This year, some companies came to the college and recruited students. I hope it gets improved with time.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, RJIT Gwalior provides hostel facilities and these hostels are ok. One room is allotted to 4 students. There are nearly 100 seats for 1st year. Girl’s hostel and boy’s hostel are different. Mess food can be improved. There are some rules to follow only for 1st year students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College size is compact. Classrooms are decent. College does have a library and it is good. It uses BSF Hall for events. For sport, there are grounds for volleyball, basketball, football and cricket. It also has a small canteen. Security guards are 3 to 4 in number. There are labs aside from the main building. I think lab and sports are my favorite parts of the college.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus and campus life is good. College is crowded as students are in high number. There are many clubs but I think Robolution is the one club which stands out for me. There are events and fests in the college. Students can take part in these events after paying some charges. My experience is decent. it could have been better but I am satisfied.

    Rustamji Institute of Technology, Gwalior is an institute where you can learn about discipline and how we can coordinate with each other. Teachers here are supportive. Institute is lush green.
