Overall Rating
My experience at Rustamji Institute of Technology is average. Sports facilities are limited. We have to attend institute for 5 days a week. Students are enrolled and branch is allotted to them according to the percentile scored by them in JEE. The fee is affordable.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Computer Science & Engineering because I am interested in Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning and emerging fields like Data Scientists. There are no entry requirements as such, like there is no entrance exam separately for this institute. Students are enrolled based on their percentile scored in Joint Entrance Examination or JEE. Students are first required to fill the counseling form then them to attend the counseling session. The curriculum is little outdated and can be updated for efficiently preparing students for facing real life challenges.
Fee of each semester is around Rs. 41,000 and hostel fee for each year is Rs. 73,000. I am not aware of any scholarship provided by the institute.
 

Faculty Rating
My course is computer science and engineering and the faculties for this course not fully qualified in skills that are currently in demand by industries, like Artificial Intelligence, Data Science and number of faculties are also very few. They majorly teach on blackboards which is kind of boring for students and also restricts teachers from explaining difficult concepts efficiently because if they teach on smart boards use of simulations etc. would have helped them.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the placement cell is there in our institute. It helps the students as it invites different companies and helps students in getting their dream job.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the institute offers residential facilities. There are 3 hostels: 1 Girls’ Hostel, and 2 hostels for Boys. They are about 60 rooms in total; one room is allotted to 4 students. Each room is spacious enough for the same. Yes, Boys’ and Girls’ hostels are separate. Mess food is acceptable in taste and quality. Annual hostel fee is Rs. 73,000. My personal experience is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
One classroom holds about 90 students and the institute has transport facilities, medical facilities, canteen but sports facility can be upgraded. My favorite thing about institute infrastructure is library as it provides an excellent environment for study. It has all the necessary study materials that are required by students. The institute is located about 40 kilometers away from Gwalior a city in Madhya Pradesh.
 

Campus Rating
The institute crowd is amazing everyone is passionate about their careers and wants to explore different fields. The institute is also home to multiple clubs like clubs for personality development, improving and learning skills like coding, clubs for improving network with people from different fields, club for robotics, etc. Fests and events do not happen frequently but whenever they happen they are a great experience. The overall campus life is great.

    Rustamji Institute of Technology, Gwalior is an institute where you can learn about discipline and how we can coordinate with each other. Teachers here are supportive. Institute is lush green. BSF academy facilities are also available, as the institute uses the BSF academy’s auditorium. You will be able to coordinate with BSF members as well.
