KIET School of Management is a complete package of surprise and disappointment because It provides some things great and some are dull. I am very surprised by the placement and KIET because placements are very good at KIET but I disappoint by the so many rules that feels like I am still in the school. KIET has good infrastructure and good overall facilities like they provide free Wi-Fi for all student and they do not charge for the placement activities. KIET is not good in extracurricular activities because they focus more on the study and placement and this a good and bad part at the same time because it is good for your career but not good for the overall development of the students. KIET overall is a good institute with good placements and with very limited resources it is providing very much for the students. Life at KIET is full of ups and down because it sometimes feels boring and sometimes it becomes exciting because of the fest and events that happens.

I choose the course Master of Business Administration because I wanted to be good manager in reputed company. Most of the student in MBA course comes through the CUET exam which happens every year for the AKTU colleges. Their forms are available on KIET website and they also provide the counseling for the students. There is also another way to get admission in KIET School of Management is through the management quota in which student has to give the donation to the college. To enrolling in this exam student must have done their graduation with minimum 60 percent overall marks. Not only the eligibility is required to get in this program but also the motivation for the course is also required to pursue your MBA degree.

Faculties in the KIET School of Management are well qualified and they are very supportive also. Apart from the placement of the KIET, I like the faculty of the KIET most because they are very supportive in KIET School of Management than other courses in the KIET. Since I have friend in the B.Tech also I can say that faculties at the KIET School of Management are better than the other faculties in the KIET Group of Institutions. All faculties have done their PhD. Some of them have also done their post doctorate from very reputed organization in India and in the world. Teaching style of many faculties are good but few of them just do not know how to teach but they give all their effort to make the learning better for the students. Faculties sometimes organize private sessions for the slow learners such that they can keep up with class.

Yes, KIET has placement cell called CRPC and it is a very active placement cell with provides best opportunities for the students and gives them every chance they deserve for their placement. KIET placement cell try to give a job to each student in the MBA department. In MBA last year 90 percent student got placed that too because of the efforts of the CRPC. CRPC also provides internship opportunities for the student such that they can earn money while studying. Good companies like TCS, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Optum, HUL etc. visits KIET School of Management each year for the recruitment. Highest package of last year was Rs. 14 LPA offered by HDFC bank to a student. Placements start from the third semester. I am in my third semester and 30 out of 60 student of my class are already got placed.

Now comes the bad part of the KIET and that is hostels at KIET because they have strict rules for girls. KIET has three girls hostel and timing for the girl to come is 8 PM. I think it is very early for the girls. Another thing that is not good about the KIET Hostel is that their food is not good. Food in mess has no taste and do not provide any option for the food also. Fee of the hostel is also the worst part they charge Rs. 1,00,000 for a year and they do not deserve to be paid that much for the facilities they provide to the students. But there are also some good parts of the college hostels like access to multipurpose building in which day scholars are not allowed and also the all access to the campus.

Infrastructure of KIET is good. One block for the MBA. They have one block of building for the each course they offer. KIET has a good infrastructure. KIET has total of 15 big buildings including hostel and every building is well maintained. But apart from the building KIET also provides the training courses for which it tie up with the Mercedes Benz. KIET has one football ground and one cricket ground along with volleyball ground and indoor badminton court and Multipurpose building for the fun games and Gym. KIET has central Library which has more than 100000 books and big self study hall for the students. KIET also has its own incubator for the students to take their entrepreneurship idea to next level with the government funding. KIET has an auditorium with the capacity of 500-600 students.

KIET has many clubs for the student in which they can register according to their interest. Some of the Clubs are KIET Dance Club, KIET Fashion Society, Goong, FC KIET, innogeeks, Entrepreneurship Cell and many more and all of the clubs are run by the students. Fests at KIET are not so good part about the KIET because there are not many fests that happen at KIET only two fest happens at KIET each year in which celebrities like Neha Kakkar and Meet Bros have come in the previous edition of the fest. Fest are also managed and organized by the students completely. KIET also conducts a technical event in the month of November in which students show their projects and winner gets a prize of Rs. 10,000. KIET also conducts a sports fest called spardha for the students to participate in the games.
