Ajay Kumar Garg Institute of Management is a good institute with good infrastructure and it is affiliated from the AKTU. I choose this institute because I heard that it is the best institute in the AKTU that provides a good exposure to the students. This college has many upsides like it provides good placements without charging any fees for that. College also gives the internship opportunities for the students to earn money while studying. Students should get the admission in this college because they provide good facilities for the students in the various fields of the course. College provides free high speed Wi-Fi for each student and also gives counseling for the students to deal with the depression issues. College has good infrastructure to cope up with the modern facilities and provides many training programs for the students.

To get the admission in the AKGIM students need to give the CUET exam in which he can apply on the CUET website. There is also another way to get the admission in this course is the direct way on the merit basis through the management quota. Student must have done their Graduation with minimum 60 percent marks in their graduation to get admission in this course. This course provides the hard skills and soft skills that are required to become a good leader in any organization. Only those students who are willing to be a good leader or a manager in any good organization are need to enroll in this course. MBA at AKGIM is a good choice for the student because it is in top 200 colleges in NIRF ranking and it is still growing because of its policies.

There are many good faculties in this college and most of them have done job in the corporate sector. So they have lot of experience to give to the students. Style of teaching varies student to student because some of the student understands the concept by a teacher and some do not cope with teacher on their teaching style. All faculties are well qualified and very supportive for the student. Teachers also provide their hand written notes for the students. I met many faculties those are very supportive for students and gives knowledge about the placement preparation but I also know some teacher they just doing their job and I feel that teaching is not a job It is duty to teach the students. Overall faculty members are good and supportive and provide good teaching style to the students.

AKGIM has its own placement cell and it is very active and working cell that provides good placements for the students. Best part of the AKGIM is the placements that they offer. I also choose this college because it provides good placements for the students. In my senior's batch 98 percent of the students got placed in good companies with good package. Average package in that was 7LPA which is a good package for the students. Some students got placed with offer more than 10 LPA in good companies. In my batch 30 students got placed till now out of 60 students and placements are still happening in the campus. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank visit the campus on the regular basis and provides good packages and roles for the students.

Hostel are same in each college in which I lived they all provides you room with good facilities with a high rent like Rs. 1,00,000 for a year and there mess always the bad part of the hostel. But hostel students also got some additional benefits like access to the college resources and They can also use the multipurpose complex in which there is a gym that is free for the hostel students and also hostel students gets free high speed Wi-Fi with no data limit. One down part of the hostel is the timing. Hostel timings are very strict and they do not allow to the students to go out after 10 PM. But by taking special permission you can remain outside of the hostel. But I feel hostel fee is high because outside the college campus there are many PGs available for the students that provide the same facilities with good food also under 70000 per year.

College infrastructure is good it is very well maintained and there is always construction work happens in the campus. They always upgrade its buildings and resource. There are 18-20 buildings in the college but all of them are not for MBA. One dedicated building is available for the students. Other than this college has couple of grounds and it is good that there buildings are not congested. College is built in a big amount of area. Classroom has all the modern facilities for the students to aid the teaching. There is a one big library in the college that has all the book needed for the students and there is also a self study hall near the library. College also offers a big canteen for the students. Overall College has good infrastructure compared to its rival counterparts.

I have lived 1 and half year in this college till now and I can say that it was a good experience because life at AKGIM offers us many opportunities to excel in the academic and gives us opportunity to make good career in any organization. But life is incomplete without the fests and events in the college. The word fest is missing in the AKGIM because since I have joined the college they do not organize any fest in the campus. A sports event was organized last year in the month of June. But it does not end here they organize farewell events which are very good. Clubs are everywhere in the college. I think there are more than 20 clubs in the college related to Dance, Music, Beauty, Movies, Entrepreneurship, Public Speaking etc.
