Insights on Academic and College Life of Delhi Technical Campus

Overall Rating
I am a first year student at Delhi Technical Campus. Being a first year student I am still exploring the college life. It is affiliated with GGSIPU which is a plus point of this college. I have made many friends and connections till now here. I am still learning how to balance college work, projects and exams. College helps you to manage time and life simultaneously. However it depend upon students that how you are performing in your college.
 

Academics Rating
The course I have chosen is B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering. I had an interest in this since my childhood and I am glad that I am pursuing my passion. To get admission in Delhi Technical Campus you have to give JEE MAINS exam. The minimum requirement in 12th standard is 60% aggregate in PCM. Everything is well taught in this college about academics as well as real life problems.
The fees in Delhi Technical Campus are quite low than other private colleges but higher than other government colleges. The total tuition fees of one year are Rs. 1,56,100 for one year which does not include hostel charges. No special discount is given for any student. However, some students have come from management quota which also requires JEE MAINS admit card.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of Delhi Technical Campus is well educated. Some of them have research background and industrial knowledge. Some of them teach only with ppt and notes. The method of teaching is good with real life examples. The teachers of my course also organises group discussions. The problem solving skills is good of some teachers. The teacher to student’s ratio is like 1:60. The bonding is very good with almost all the facilities. They are very friendly with students.
 

Placement Rating
The placement in Delhi Technical Campus is not below average. You have to put extra effort for placement. The highest package of this year was 22 LPA and average was 5 LPA. Most of the student applies for off campus. The placement cell is helpful in developing the skill set of the students and also in getting placement opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel of Delhi Technical Campus is quite good than other colleges. Rooms are triple and double sharing. Boys and girls hostel are separate. The mess food is good and has variety in food from north to south Indian. Hostel fees are Rs. 1,20,000 for three sharing with AC. My experience in hostel is good till now. There is proper security available in the hostel for safety of the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Delhi Technical Campus is good and well equipped but it is small. It has modern buildings. There are any blocks for each department. The classroom is also well equipped and air conditioned. There is also a library, labs, seminar hall. Auditorium, conference hall, etc. There is also a canteen, sports ground, medical facilities, and other amenities. My favorite part of campus life is to sit somewhere in our campus and enjoy our time with my friends.
 

Campus Rating
The campus is well equipped even though it is small. The college crowd is high this year. There are many clubs and societies here which are run by our seniors. I am not a part of any clubs. Many events and fests are organised by clubs and college itself. Other extracurricular activities are also organised by the college. The experience is good and very friendly in college. Everyone is supportive and encourage each other.

    First of all, the overall experience of DTC Greater Noida is particularly good. If we speak about the pros, it is affiliated to IPU University.
