DTC Greater Noida's Fee Structure and Scholarships

First of all, the overall experience of DTC Greater Noida is particularly good. If we speak about the pros, it is affiliated to IPU University. The location is good, as the place is known for college hub. The attendance criterion is pretty low. On the other hand, I took this college because i was getting CSE here at low rank in JEE. Right now, CSE is the best possible choice one can get.

The course I chose is CSE. My motive to join this particular course is my interest. It is one of the trending courses in B.Tech right now. The requirement to join this college is to give JEE and get a good rank. Students must have taken Science as stream in class 12th. The process of admission is quite simple, after giving admission, one needs to wait for IPU counseling to start. Once started, you can apply for it and simply you will get admission in this college. JEE, exam is necessary for this course. Now coming about the academic part of this college, the academics are super. In first year, we are learning the advanced version of our class 11th and 12th with coding lectures too. Class tests and mid sem exams are taken in every 1.5 to 2 months regularly.

My fee for B.Tech with CSE branch is Rs. 1,60,000 for one academic year. It is to be paid fully at the time of admission. Yes, there is scholarship for meritorious students based on 12th board and JEE rank in college tuition fee. There is discount for reserved category students too. IPU University takes Rs. 96,000 at the time of counseling and the rest of the fee us to be paid directly at the college at time of admission.

The professors and faculties are both new and old experienced one. Teaching methodology is satisfactory as both board and smart boards are used for teaching. The student to teacher ratio here is 70:1 which is good in my case as students can ask their doubts personally if they want. As I have already said, teachers here are helpful and try to solve each doubt of students and provide tutorial and mentorship lectures.

Talking about the placement, there is a placement season right now and many senior students of our institute are placed in many companies. The average placement package of our college is 6 to 8 LPA whereas one students of our college recently were placed at 22 LPA. So the placement here is good. Many pre-placement talks are done with our students of this college to prepare them for it and boost confidence. Telling about my placement experience, I have not been placed yet.

Yes, the college has two blocks of hostels: one for girls and the other for boys. In each room, 3 students can live and around 500 students live in college hostel. The facility of hostel is you will get mess, Wi-Fi, entry to all the college late night events, and playground after college timing. The quality of food and mess here is decent here and students are happy with it. Hostel rules are strict for first year and relaxed rules for senior students while the timing for hostel is 7 PM for outside and 10 PM for campus after that student must be inside hostel.

There are 4 blocks in the campus of DTC Greater Noida along with one workshop, 2 grounds, 1 basketball court, 2 blocks of hostels, medical block, reception, and many more. Campus size is decent, I do not know exactly how much bit it is decent enough. Talking about the classroom seating capacity is at least 70 students per room. There are 2 air conditioners in each classroom. There is library, physics, chemistry, electrical science lab, 2 computer labs, and 1 artificial intelligence lab. All other facilities are also there like canteen, food vending machines, security, and medical treatment room. My favorite part of the college is the open amphitheater where students can organize any fest, function, etc.

The overall campus life is good here. The college crowd is good. Mostly students here are from Delhi but people from Bihar, UP, and South India are also seen. Talking about clubs in college there are more than 10 clubs in college. You will get all type of clubs are and I am serious about that. Activities are here held regularly once a week. I have attended so many webinars and club show at college that I cannot remember. Fests and parties are held here. Recently, we had our Diwali Mela and then fresher’s party. We recently visited to our university fest too. My personal experience in this college is mixed. But I will surely recommend this college.
