St Wilfred's PG College: Affordable Fees and Supportive Faculty

In terms of academics, St Wilfred's PG College provides a suitable environment that focuses on ensuring the future of each student is bright. With this motto, each staff whether they relate with your subject or not, provide all sort of assistance that a student needs. With a knowledge-enriched library, students can find more to learn. Moreover, with extracurricular activities, it is easy to evolve your overall personality, creating new opportunities and look beyond your opted course. The college also offers you a chance to join the NCC squad to become a cadet and later see yourself serving in the Indian army. So, for me, this college has more to offer than what you have idea about. I did not just learned more about Mass Communication; I also participated in different activities. With what I experienced, the charged fee is not much of a problem.

I opted for Journalism & Mass Communication hoping to learn enough to crack the exams. However, the professor had other ideas and it proved to be a time that I will always remember. Under the teacher's guidance, I was able to understand the subject and the college provided us with the access to library, a house of knowledge, I would say. Here, I can scroll through different books and reading materials, allowing me to gather more information. I progressed further than I expected with the amount of information and if you cannot find any book, the librarian or other faculties are always there to support.

Given the experience I had during my entire degree, I learnt that the fee of St Wilfred's PG College is affordable. It does not seem to be a trouble.

Teachers here have good knowledge of their subjects. They have completed their PhD and Master’s. All of them were very supportive and student friendly. They also provide notes to the students.

The infrastructure is good and relaxing just as a student would like. Most of all, the management inside the building allows you to reach any room with lesser difficulty. For any student regardless of what they study, they can easily find the required materials within the college itself. The college has a canteen where they can find well-cooked food. Moreover, there are properly structured computer and other labs, allowing students to have a first-hand experience for what they need. If you are into sports of any kind such as basketball or swimming, you will not only find the place but also the trainer to teach you.

Most of my time of the degree was spent during Covid and I had a less time to spend in the college. However, I did visit the college in between and I was properly greeted by fellow students. There were many academics & non-academic events on the way to make students industry ready and provide better experience. Overall, I will rate the experience 4.5 out of 5 because what I found positive environment inside the campus, though it was brief.
