Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women: Academics, Fees, and Placements

First of all being a girl, safety is the first priority for my family and me. I really found Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women very safe and very economical. Campus is not so big but if you want to study only then it is the best college in Jaipur to come. And if you study well and continue to work on your skills then you can get into the placement and get placed also.

Any formalities like group discussion, written test and interview has not been organised during the admission time. The eligibility is that you should have a good score in 12th and you can get scholarship also on the basis of your 12th percentage, JEE percentile and REAP exam.

The tuition fee for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year is Rs. 87,498 and for 4th year, it is Rs. 77,402. Admission fee is taken one time. Also, it takes exam fee per semester and takes the fare for dropping & picking you up from the examination center, it is Rs. 150 per exam.

We can easily approach the faculty here and Ishwar sir is the best faculty. He is really a very good teacher. The faculty at Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women is very good. We have internal exams two times per semester and one external exam in which we have to score 36 marks out of 100. The external exam is of 70 marks and internal exams are of 30 marks and the average of two internal exams is considered as the final internal marks.

The third year students at Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women get free placement offers with internship. Of course the fourth year students also get placement from the companies that visited the campus. We have all the companies like Accenture, IBM, Microsoft, Amazon, Genpact, Capgemini, Cognizant, etc. The highest package is of 44 LPA and the average package is 7 LPA. Almost every student of the college gets placed.

This is a girl's college, so we only have girl’s hostel here. The hostel fee is different for different type of rooms like double seater, single seater, etc. AC and Non- AC rooms are also available in the college. Every single room has one almirah, one bench, one bed, and one chair. Every room has 24/7 free Wi-Fi connection. The mess food is average. Timings for hostels are different for winter and summer. For winter, the hostel gate at Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women opens at 6:30 AM and closes at 9:00 PM and in summer; the gate opens at 6:00 AM and closes at 9:30 PM. We can also receive online orders from different e-commerce sites and any food delivery sites from the window on the gate. If you are in first year, then you are not allowed to go out of the college. From 2nd year onwards, you can take permission from parents to go out of the hostel. Every month, outings are organized for the students of 1st year.

At Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, we have canteen, sport facilities, medical facilities, security, and every other facility that should be in a college or especially in a women's college. Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women has a library in which we have all the academic books of different authors. The students can also borrow the books from the library and are required to submit it back to the college library after a specified time period. We also have temple here. Just like the hostels, whole campus has good Wi-Fi connectivity. We also have a gym and cafeteria in the campus.

Aagaz is organised in Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women for juniors to welcome them in the college. Then we have an inter college sports competition which is organised in December or January month. Teams from other colleges also participate in this competition. The winners are rewarded with cash prize, certificate, medals, and trophies.
