I am a proud student of Faculty of Law DU. It is one of the best institutions in India. It has the best faculty consisting of lawyers and judges. It is producing exceptional alumni including renowned judges and lawyers. Our university has a very strong academic foundation having a rich history which gives students a new learning experience. These are the factors that made me choose Faculty of Law DU.

Delhi University's Law Faculty's academic program is set up to give students the best legal education which is beneficial for both the students who wants to go into litigation and those who want to become judges. The faculty offers a three-year (six-semester) LL.B. program. Additionally, elective courses that address their interests and professional aspirations are offered to students. The faculty focuses on hands-on learning in addition to classroom instruction. Faculty helps students to engage in debates, moot courts, and other extracurricular activities that increase the development of critical thinking, research, and advocacy skills. The faculty provides a variety of specializations, such as corporate law, international law, intellectual property laws and many more. The admission process is quite simple. We have to give CUET and must have secure at least 50% or more as per cutoff to get enrolled in law faculty. CUET is held once in a year.

The fee of first year in LL.B is Rs. 7,000 only. The total cost of 3 years LL.B from Delhi University would be around Rs. 20,000. I might add that these fees are subject to change. Compared to other private colleges in Delhi, fees for the Faculty of Law at Delhi University are much cheaper, so it becomes a very good option for students who want to pursue a career in law. There are scholarship given by the university through which students who are economically weak can get some amount of their fee back in to their bank accounts. Additionally, every semester students have to fill exam forms during which they have to give an examination fee that varies from Rs. 1,000 – Rs. 1,500.

Faculty of Law DU has a very highly qualified and experienced faculty. Our teachers are retired judges of district court and high courts. Some are lawyers practicing in high courts, district courts and supreme court. Their method of teaching is too good as they are so experienced in their profession. For every section different teachers are allocated. Faculty also engages students into moot court activities, internships and research topics. These things help one to face further future challenges in to their legal profession.

Faculty of Law DU has an outstanding record of alumni who secured excellent jobs in their profession. There are placement cells in Delhi university in which a student can participate and can secure a job. If they want to do internships from the 1st year then they can. Sometimes top law firms came into campus in search of brilliant minds in faculty of law and then hire them by giving them jobs into their firms.

Environment of hostels are good at Faculty of Law DU. They are cost friendly. But only students having good score into their entrance exams can secure a seat in hostels and they must have their home far away from the campus. Nearby students can't get a seat in hostel. Hostels have all the basis facilities like Wi-Fi, laundry and food facilities.

Location of campus is very beautiful. The whole area has greenery around it. The faculty building is spacious and clean environment. As the capital is said to have a lot of pollution but this area is super clean and has a good quality air. The classrooms are big and their infrastructure is too good and well maintained. The classes have 6 air conditioners, one white board and 8-10 fans in each single room. The faculty has moot courts in which they organise competitions for the betterment of students. The library is huge and all kind of books are available there. If anyone is not able to afford books they can read them in library and can issue them also. The campus is suitable for specially disabled people as well as there are elevators in building and ramps are also available for them.

My overall campus life at Faculty of Law DU is way too good and I am still a part of it. I am enjoying my campus life. The place remains always crowded with students. The whole north campus is crowded with students from all over India. There are many societies in Faculty of Law DU for students. I am part of legal service society. Our faculty organise seminars of judges and lawyers from time to time which is beneficial for all of us. The faculty also gives freshers party to 1st year students. They also organise fests and events all over year. In fests they call different famous artists from India. I am enjoying my campus life a lot.
