I chose this college because of its very efficient faculty and affiliation with DU, which makes it an excellent option for undergraduates in social sciences and humanities. College also offers a beautiful campus with well-built classrooms, a large cafeteria, and lush surroundings.

I have enrolled in Political Science (Hons.) program here because I am very passionate about understanding governance, societal issues, and International Relations. The eligibility criteria at my college is to clear the CUET Exam, with a cutoff that varies every year for students coming from different backgrounds like General, ST, SC, and many more. The curriculum includes two semester exams annually. This rigorous academic structure provides analytical and critical thinking that I need to solve problems in real life setting. The course curriculum is relevant which enables students to stay relevant with the current developments in the national and international spheres.

The annual fee is Rs. 19,320 annually, which includes the tuition fee as well. According to Financial Support Scheme (2023-24), Delhi University offers fee concessions to students with a family income ranging between 4 to 8 Lakh.

College has highly qualified faculty members, many of whom have extensive and diverse backgrounds in Political Science and hold PhDs. They make sure to create an engaging environment for the students by using PowerPoint presentations and promoting group discussions. My interactions with the faculty have been beyond phenomenal. They are very helpful and approachable.

In order to help students to build their profiles, they promote students to get involved in college societies and conduct resume building workshops. Well-known companies like Urban Company have visited the campus for recruitment. The pay packages that recruiter offer range from 3 LPA to 12 LPA.

College has a large campus with 2 academic blocks. The classrooms are fully furnished with AV equipment and contemporary seating arrangement. In addition to a big cafeteria, the infrastructure consists of a comprehensive library, psychology and computer labs seminar hall, dance room and an auditorium. Playing badminton along with my friends is my favorite activity to do during breaks.

My campus life here is phenomenal, with a friendly and encouraging community of students, that promotes a feeling of belonging. The college has a variety of clubs including Enactus, NSS, NCC, placement cell, Debating society, and many more. I am an associate member at Enactus and NSS. One of the highlights is the annual fest called ‘Prarambh’. The college offers various engagements activities like case competitions, debates, and dance performances. My overall experience has been very enriching and rewarding.
