Four Year Course at MRIIRS Faridabad

Overall Rating
I studied in MRIIRS Faridabad for 4 years and I must say it is one of the best institutes in Faridabad. Almost all courses in this institute were Industry Integrated which was very less in other institutes as they provide core courses. Also the infrastructure of the institute was pretty much well organized and there was fests held every year during the autumn.
 

Academics Rating
The course Mechanical Engineering Industry Integrated was one of the integrated courses where first two years were taught by the faculty of the college and next two years were taught by faculties who were industry experts. The admission was based on a simple personal interview. The exams were held at the end of each semester and in between semesters there were two sectional tests. As the course was integrated, therefore it was aligned with real life challenges.
The fee was about Rs. 1,00,000 for each year. That means every semester Rs. 50,000 has to be paid.
 

Faculty Rating
Overall the faculty was good for both. The background of faculty members was that they all were post graduates with masters in Technology. The method of teaching was good and it used to depend on the teacher whether he/she liked to prefer using the blackboard or PPTs. The teacher student ratio was overall equal in our batch.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of MRIIRS Faridabad was fabulous, situated outside the main city of Faridabad having lush greens throughout the outer campus. The size of the campus was much bigger. The classrooms were based on modern technologies and labs were well equipped with the instruments. Library had almost all the books required for exams as well for brushing up the knowledge. Besides this there was also a sports arena which had indoor sports like badminton, snooker, etc. as well as a gym.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life was good. The college crowd was excellent as there were students from other departments also. There were many clubs regarding co-curricular activities like a theatre club. Besides this there was also an innovation centre dedicated solely for research purposes where college students use to spend their time researching. The annual fest was held during the autumn period mainly October or November but unfortunately we experienced only 2 fests during our 4 year period in the institute.

    I wanted to join IITs and NITs but my scores in JEE Mains was very low but I had a great score in 12th grade my percentage was 91.8 so I easily got admission in this institute and also close to my hometown.
