About My Campus Life in B. Borooah College Guwahati

Overall Rating
My College is very decent College & it is affiliated with the Guwahati University. The College is accredited by NAAC (A++) as well. It offers B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, and PG courses in some selected fields like Chemistry, Geography, etc. Also, it is a small College, which is in the centre of Guwahati city. College provides good environment, good for study and in College campuses. There is a small pond where students spent free time with friends.
 

Academics Rating
There are many courses offered by B. Borooah College Guwahati. I chose B.Sc in Mathematics. For admission in Mathematics stream, student needs to have 75-80% in class 12th from any board. Exams are held by faculty after in every 2 to 3 months and also have Internal examination and semester end examination.
Fee structure in our College is affordable. Per year, admission fees is around Rs. 7000/- and examination fee is around Rs. 3000/- per semester, which includes University fee and College fee. Scholarships are also offered.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty of every department is very good. They are well trained and have proper knowledge about their subject. All the faculties are very friendly in nature and help students in their studies. Regular attendance and proper discipline is maintained by the faculty. Their problem-solving ability is too good. The teacher to student ratio is around 1:30. My personal experience with faculty is very good and very good bonding with the faculty.
 

Infrastructure Rating
B. Borooah College, Guwahati is a small in size because it is situated at the centre of the Guwahati city. Though, the College campus is small, it is very clean and well maintained. Classrooms have capacity of around 50 students. College has library, which have many books, newspaper, books, etc. and have canteen, gym, and common room. There is an auditorium with 500-student capacity. Other than this, it has seminar room, faculty room, and other such amenities.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is very exciting with friends. Many events are organised at the College every year. Festivals like Holi, Diwali, Saraswati puja, and others are celebrated. My overall experience in my College is very good.
