Build Future in AIIE Ahmadabad: Good Education & Educators

Overall Rating
I am 4th year student at AIIE Ahmadabad and my experience at this institute has been decent. I liked the atmosphere of this institute, when I visited it in 2021. It is located in Shantigram area near Vaishno-Devi circle. It is the perfect institute for students who want to pursue Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI & ML) or Information & Communication Technology (ICT).
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in ICT because CSE was not available at the institute. When I first applied, general category students needed to obtain rank under 4000 in GUJCET or Gujarat Boards. OBC category students get some relaxation in admission criteria as they have to achieve less than 8000 rank. The admission process was simple as I had to pay Rs. 20,000 to confirm the admission. 2 exams are conducted each semester which includes 1 mid-semester and 1 end semester exam.
My fee was Rs. 82,500 per semester. High ranking students have to pay less fees and it could be reduced to Rs. 2,500 rupees per semester. Specific category students are not provided any discounts. Students can access various government scholarships like Digital-Gujarat and MYSY, which offer financial aid up to Rs. 60,000 rupees per year.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members are very supportive and are always ready to help the students. All the professors have completed their PhDs and are good at easily explaining difficult concepts. Students can directly contact the faculty for any issues or if they are absent from class. I liked Dr. Ajay Kumar Vyas, who was our HoD and taught us IOT. Most of the faculties were good at problem solving especially Dr. Diya Vadhvani who took out Data Mining class.
 

Placement Rating
The placement services could be improved.
 

Hostel Rating
Adani Institute of Infrastructure Engineering does not offer hostel facilities to the students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The classrooms were spacious with a seating capacity of around 80 students. The canteen facilities were fantastic and the library was also well-maintained. Other than that, the labs were also quite good.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, campus life was average. There are various clubs at the institute. The fest ‘ASPIRE’ is celebrated every year where students from different branches participate in different kinds of sports. Successful individuals and experts are also invited to the institute regularly to inspire and educate the students.
