Affordable and Quality Education at Silver Oak University

Silver Oak University offers a wide array of courses with great curriculum. The faculty at the university are excellent and fee structure is affordable. The university provides good placements to the students across various streams. Students can also access good accommodation facilities at the university. It has great campus facilities as students can participate in various activities and events.

I chose the Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) course because it is affordable and the curriculum provides us with the adequate subjects and software. Students can get admission into the university right after finishing class 10th or 12th as it offers various Diploma, Advance Diploma, Bachelors and Masters courses. The admissions are conducted on the basis of 10th or 12th report card and there was no necessary percentage criteria. The admission process was simple and the councillors helped us a lot. The exams are held at middle and end of each semester which contains both practical and theory tests. The university facilitates practical learning for students which makes them industry ready.

The fee is pretty much affordable for everyone. The university also offers free-ship to those who require financial aid. For the 3 years B.sc course, the annual fee is about Rs, 1,60,000 and the total fee is around Rs. 3,00,000 –Rs. 4,00,000.

The faculty consists of professors who have years of industry knowledge, experience, and skills. They have been professionally trained and have years of experience in teaching. They teach us both practical as well as theory subjects in the classrooms and labs. They use authentic software for teaching which facilitates digital learning. They are very approachable and give personalized guidance to students about portfolio building, work improvement, doubt solving, and job opportunities. They discuss the latest industry requirements, trends, and facilities to keep us informed about the professional landscape. They also take us to education tours and industrial visits such as M2 animation studio, Pixled studio, YRF studio, etc.

The university offers accommodation services to students which are separately available for male and female students. It has 2, 3, and 4 occupancy rooms. The girls’ hostel has good security. Hostel rooms are fully furnished with beds, wardrobes, and attached bathrooms. There is also a common kitchen and canteen / mess for everyone. The mess serves vegetarian and Jain food which is prepared with emphasis on hygiene and cleanliness. The hostel fee is reasonable and varies for type of room. The hostel timing is from 7 A.M to 9 P.M. If students need to go out after the 9 P.M they need to get permission from the teacher and their parents. Moreover, they also have to register their name, room number, and timing of outing before leaving the hostel.

The university has great infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms and labs. It is located in the heart of Ahmadabad city which makes the daily commute easier for students. There is a bus stop and auto stop where students can access the public transportation easily. The overall campus includes 5 buildings, from block A to block E. There are different auditoriums for organising events. The campus also has different libraries which has a wide range of books, thesis, and reports. It also has a huge food court which offers 100% vegetarian food. It serves various cuisines at a very reasonable price.

The overall campus life is extremely great as the students here are really well mannered and kind. The crowd is very inclusive ranging because the student body has both domestic and International students. Students can join various clubs and events and participate in different extracurricular activities like NCC, Scouts, Music, and Sports. The university conducts various annual and departmental events which make the campus life great for both introverts and extroverts.
