MNIT Jaipur: Best Choice for Engineering

Overall Rating
Overall, MNIT Jaipur is a really nice institute for Engineering courses. It has much better performance in comparison to other colleges in the region. It is located right in the middle of the city which makes it really accessible. I choose this institute because it has exceptional placement record and it is situated nearby by my home. The best part of studying at this institute is the outstanding infrastructure. The faculty and the placement services of the institute are also good. It has engaging campus environment which facilitates holistic development of the students.
 

Academics Rating
I'm currently pursuing Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electrical Engineering and I chose this course because I was really interested in this field. The eligibility criteria is based on JEE Main percentile. The admission process is very simple as eligible students need to sit in JOSAA / CSAB counselling where they can get this institute if they get a good score in the entrance exam. Selected students are invited to the physical reporting where their documents are checked.
The fee structure for all the B.Tech specializations is same. The per semester tuition fee is Rs. 62,500. In addition to this, students also have to pay institution fee of Rs. 36,500 for even semester and Rs. 19,500 for odd semester. The annual fee at the institute is around Rs. 2,45,000. EWS, SC, ST, and OBC candidates can get fee relaxations. Students can also avail various State and Central government scholarships.
 

Faculty Rating
The professors are well qualified and have a strong grip on the subject which makes them really good at teaching. The mode of teaching gat the institute is blackboards, smart-boards, and PPTs. The faculty conducts tutorial classes for resolving doubts of the students. Some professors are very friendly and approachable.
 

Placement Rating
MNIT Jaipur has an active Placement Cell which works tirelessly for the students. The Cell invites companies to campus for internship and placement drives. Along with this, it also conducts training sessions to increase industry awareness and soft skills of the students. Many renowned companies come for on-campus placement drives at the institute like Flipkart, Google, Apple, JPMC, Expedia, etc. The packages of students vary for each branch but this year the highest package was given by Apple.
 

Hostel Rating
The institute offers residential facilities to its students which are separate for girls and boys. It has around 15 hostels. Hostel rooms are decent and the mess food is average. The hostel fee is Rs. 32,000 for each semester. There are no timings for boys’ hostels but girls’ hostels are closed by 10 P.M daily.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The institute has remarkable campus which is spread across 317 acres of land with a lush green environment. All the classes are held at the Vivekananda Lecture Theatre Complex (VLTC) which is the largest lecture theatre complex in Asia. The classrooms are really nice with all the necessary features. The institute has multiple small auditoriums for various events. There are 2 canteens and a medical complex. The security is brilliant with security guards all around the campus. The hangout spots where students can sit and relax with their friends are my favourite thing about the institute.
 

Campus Rating
Overall, my campus life has been decent because the campus environment is comfortable. The crowd is also descent as you meet people from different backgrounds. The institute has more than 30 cultural and technical clubs where students can build their skills and explore their passion. A number of fests are organised at the institute such as ‘Blitzschlag’, technical fest ‘Sphinx’, and sports fest ‘MST’.

    I have almost spent 1 year there in the campus, it's good and nice environment, but the weather is too different from South India, but the campus is filled with lush greenery everywhere and is we well maintained. I chose this institute according to my ranking. For my ranking, there was no better institute than this. Nothing much different, it is as usual all NITs with same method of teaching.     You need to give JEE mains paper to get Bachelor of Architecture at MNIT Jaipur. Overall experience of college is very good. It is in great city with great campus of 317 acres.
