YBN University: Quality Education & Hands-on Experience

Overall Rating
Until now, my experience in YBN University has been good. In case of Agriculture department, after every two days, there is a site visit, explaining how to work in the field. Until now as per my opinion, this university is good for students who want to pursue Agriculture or goal is to go in this field. They can come and visit the campus full hands on training is provided to students for the betterment and their future. All are excellent in this.
 

Academics Rating
As I am more interested towards greenery, Agriculture field seemed perfect to me. That is why I opted for this course. An eligibility criterion for this course is to have 60% marks in 12th and no backlogs should be there. Admission process fills out the form that is present in the university website in the month of June and July. There are two exams in one semester: mid-semester and other one is end-semester. Final or end-semester exams happen in every 3 months (as one semester is the course of 6 months) and mid-semester exams are conducted after every 3 months.
Per year, a B.Sc Agriculture student has to pay Rs. 50,000. Few students get special discounts or even 100% scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
In my course, faculty members are very good. They make us comfortable so that we do not hesitate while asking any of our issues. They teach using real or practical life examples instead of what is there in the material or book that they have. Every student who comes with the problem teacher solves them so perfectly to whole class not to only one student. My experience and bonding is very nice as I said teachers make us so comfortably so that we font hesitate. Overall faculties are very nice and well-educated most are from Birsa Agriculture University.
 

Placement Rating
There is one different department for placement. Many students are placed from my branch as this year my seniors around 70% were placed in very good companies. CTC offered during recruitment is around 7 LPA to 8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
No, there is no hostel in the university premises.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus size of YBN University is quite big. Every department has their own fun this campus. If we talk about infrastructure then it is nice as there are small plants in the corridor and also in the classroom. Conference hall is also there as much session takes place in my department only. Classrooms are big and around 60 students can sit in one class. Auditorium is also there for any event or extracurricular activities. Different sports take place like volleyball, cricket, etc. Canteen is also there for students to have their lunch. All the other facilities are also there and I think one should come to this university.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is interesting as different activities take place. All the festivals are celebrated in this with full of enjoyment. College crowd is almost 80%. There are different department with their different clubs and extracurricular activities in a month. My experience until now is good as I have nice batch mates, faculties, Dean is also nice, and our HOD is also good.
