YBN University

The Training and Placement Cell of the University assists students in knowing the requirements of the corporate world so that they can prepare accordingly for the desired job role. The cell also organises YBN University Placement drives to help students interact with recruiting companies and then secure attractive employment & Internship opportunities from them.

Students are trained for the corporate world through the following pre-placement training sessions that are organised by the cell:

• Mock Interviews
• Seminars
• Guest Lectures
• Group Discussions

Leading companies like TCS, Lenskart, Amazon, Deloitte, Capgemini, Accenture, IBM, and others recruit the students of the University.

The University’s campus covers around 100+ acres of land area and adequate facilities like classrooms, labs, library, sports, hostels, etc. are available in the campus. At YBN University Campus, students get access to smart classrooms & lecture theatres and they are equipped with requisite audio-visual aids & internet connectivity.

Following pointers include the necessary information regarding the facilities that students get in the University’s premises:

• Library: The University’s Central Library contains an ample number of learning materials such as books, journals, encyclopaedias, dictionaries, newspapers, magazines, and other online resources. There are around 200 reading seats in the library and also students can avail numerous services like reprographic reference, book issue & return, examination materials, etc.
  Other than this, departmental libraries are there in the campus to provide domain-specific learning materials to the students.
• Laboratories: High-tech PCs with latest software are available in the computer labs of the University to equip students with ongoing digital skills. Students get to learn the theories with the help of practical application in the technologically advanced labs that are present in the academic departments of the University.

  • Biochemistry Labs
• Other Spaces: Various spaces including auditoriums, seminars halls / rooms, and conference halls are built by YBN University Ranchi with adequate audio-visual equipment and seating capacity. These spaces are used for conducting academic events & other programs.
• Cafeteria: Diverse range of options in food & beverages are there in the menu of canteen / cafeteria of the University. Sufficient seating space is there in these eateries for the students.
• Hostels: Safe and comfortable accommodation facilities are provided by the University in their premises to the male and female students. More than 600 students can be accommodated in the YBN University Hostels. Numerous facilities such as furnished rooms, mess / cafeteria, sports, Wi-Fi, laundry services, round-the-clock security, and others are provided to the residents staying in the hostels.
• Sports: YBN University Ranchi focuses on the overall growth & development of the students. Grounds and courts are present in the University’s campus for Cricket, Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis, Badminton, and other outdoor games. Indoor spaces are there at the University for games like Chess, Carrom, Table Tennis, and others. Also, fitness equipment is there in the gymnasium of the University.
• Transportation: Several buses are owned by the University to provide transportation facility to the students who are commuting from different areas of the city.
• Healthcare Facilities: YBN University Ranchi has a medical centre at the campus where qualified doctors are present to provide immediate treatment to the students. Other than this, 24/7 ambulance services are available at the campus for emergency purposes.
• Other Facilities: Bank & ATM, Departmental Store, etc.
