Overall Rating
CDLSIET Sirsa was established in the year 2003. It is approved by AICTE and UGC, and is affiliated with CDLU Sirsa. It offers admission in the field of Engineering at UG level. I am doing B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (2024-2028). According to fees of the institute, it is a better option. Many students cleared GATE from this institute. Fresher events, technical events, and non-tech events are organized around the year. Total strength is around 500 to 550 students. I chose this institute because this is most affordable institute.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Mechanical Engineering as I want to join Indian Navy. Our institute provides admissions in specializations such as CSE, ME, CE, DS, EE, ECE, and FT. Admissions through JEE Main. After giving exam, you have to apply in HSTES counseling. Cut Off for CSE is around 1.8 Lakh in last round. 2.8 Lakh for ECE. The course curriculum is good. There are 3 unit exams per semester, and 1 end semester. Exam is little bit tough. For semester exams, you have to study for at least 2 to 3 weeks. You will need 75% attendance to sit in exam otherwise will be detained.
Fee for odd semester is Rs. 24,600 and for even semester, it is Rs. 15,600. Hostel Fee is Rs. 12,100 per year and mess charges are Rs. 2,125 per month. Various scholarships for Haryana students, UP students, and special scholarships for Northeast and Jammu & Kashmir students are provided.
 

Faculty Rating
Teachers are very helpful. They always try to help students. There are sufficient faculty in our institute. Our HoD of Mechanical Department has done B.Tech from Russia. All teachers are very intelligent and well educated. They are serious about the students, and all the teachers take their lectures on time.
 

Hostel Rating
There is one boys’ hostel with 395 rooms and one girls’ hostel with 225 rooms available. According to mess fee, food is good. Canteen is available in hostel and institute.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Our institute is of 45 acres. There is one main building where classes are conducted. Separate Mechanical workshop is present. The institute building needs renovation and need to install new equipment in the lab. There are no computers in working condition in the computer lab. Wi-Fi is available on institute campus. There is no medical facility available. Sports like cricket, volleyball, badminton, TT, etc., are available. Big ground is also there. Canteen also available in institute campus.
 

Campus Rating
Crowd of CDLSIET Sirsa is of good quality. Every year, annual sports event is organized, which continues for upto 2 to 3 days. Fresher events, farewell, tech events, and non-tech events organized around the year. My experience is nice. I have completed around 8 months in this institute. You should also take a look at this institute.

    This institute is located in Panniwala Mota village of Sirsa which is 20 km away from Sirsa. The atmosphere here is very good.
