B.Pharm Admissions at MRSPTU Bathinda

My time at the university has been a mix of learning, growing, and discovering more about myself. I had the chance to work on projects that challenged me in the best way. When I was actively searching where to study, I was looking for a place that felt serious about education but still cared about students as individual. MRSPTU Bathinda stood out because of its strong academic record, support from teacher’s career cell, and from fellow students. The thing that makes it different from others is that it gives attention to practical learning and not just theory. Also, the atmosphere is collaborative and has helped me a lot to learn.

I am doing B.Pharm because I am interested in medicines. Admission process in MRSPTU Bathinda is a merit based process. Some courses, like those in Engineering, Medicine, or Science, may require you to have specific subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in your class 12th. The frequency of exams depends on the curriculum of the chosen course. Some courses rely on fewer high-stakes exams such as midterm and final examinations. Campus academics gives you a good base, but real life challenges often require extra skills like flexibility, networking, and emotional awareness, which you might not learn directly nut indirectly.

The total fee for my course is Rs. 2,50,000. The fee is paid in semester wise manner. The mess food charges are not included in the total fee, they are paid monthly in accordance to the meals you have had. Government scholarship is provided for SC and ST students. Merit scholarships of Rs.10,000 is also provided to the students who score above 90% in their class 12th boards.

The method of teaching used by teachers is mixed; they use both green boards and PPTs. The faculty members are quite good. Faculty is cooperative. They make efforts to know their students, offer guidance, and give helpful feedback. They create a positive and supportive learning atmosphere. If you are interested, you can visit the university’s website or department page where the course is offered. They usually have a faculty directory with detailed profiles of instructors. Many faculty members upload their CVs, which outline their educational background such as research interests, publications, and teaching history.

Placement cell in university is responsible for assisting students in finding employment after graduation. They typically help with recruitment drives, mock test, resume building, internship opportunities, career counseling, and other placement-related activities. Programs conducted at university aims to prepare students for the resume building, mock interview, aptitude, and technical training. Renowned companies visit our campus like Oswal, flipkart, Sonalika, Trident Cadilla, Reliance, Britannia, Nestle, etc. The average package provided by placement cell is 3 LPA to 6 LPA.

Yes, University provides residential facilities. Different residential facilities are provided for professors and working staff. The girls and boys hostels are separate. The mess food quality is average. The annual fee for hostel is Rs. 8,000 to Rs. 10,000. For girls the timing and rules are strict but are flexible for boys. My personal experience for hostel is very good. The rooms and buildings are nice but only food quality needs improvement.

The campus is well laid out with separate blocks for different academic departments. Each block is dedicated to a specific stream like Science, Engineering, Humanities, or Business Studies. Blocks have well equipped modern classrooms, labs, and faculty rooms. There is a central library, which is a great spot for both group work and quiet study. It is well stocked with books, journals, and digital resources. The administration block takes care of all the administrative work and student services. The seating capacity of each classroom is about 60-70 students and have good ventilation system with air coolers. There are well-equipped labs for Science, Engineering, and Computer subjects, where students can do practical work and experiments. This hall is used for guest lectures and student presentations. It’s fitted with projectors and good sound systems. A large, modern auditorium is available for bigger events like cultural programs, workshops, and seminars. The canteen serves tasty and affordable food. There are good facilities for both indoor and outdoor games like cricket, football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, etc. My favorite places are grounds and canteen, where I sit with my friends.

The life in MRSPTU Bathinda campus is good. There's always something going on. There are places to hangout like canteens and cafes. It's easy to find your own space. You get to meet students from different cities and states. There are different clubs like literary, social welfare, NSS, and NCC. I have not joined any clubs but have participated in the events of various clubs. ‘Tarranum’ is the university’s fest, which is organized every year. Freshers and youth festival are also celebrated. Overall, my experience here is very good.
