SRM University is a deemed University and have lot of branches too. It is a well reputed university over the country. The admission process is fully done over through the counseling conducted by SRM University and management seats also filled. The fees structure is little bit higher than other universities. For B.Tech courses they are conducting their own exam named SRMJEE have to score good percentage also. Based on this score the seat will be allocated for you. It is accredited by NAAC with grade A++. It is established in the year of 2004. The attendance and fees structure is strictly followed in this college.

Academically good It is a deemed to be university so the syllabus is fully framed by the same university. So the major courses are framed by the MNCs and updated. The syllabus is revised to the trend every time. College has sufficient facilities to teach and exams are conducted in good way. In this college they are conducting lot of extracurricular events sports meet and they are encouraging lot of sports events also. Academics are always good in the SRM University.

There are sufficient facilities are available for every department and they are well knowledgeable persons. They are very friendly and punctual. I took Information Technology department in this college. In my department faculties are supporting us for co curricular and extracurricular activities. Faculties are completed master and some of them completed PhD also.

Placements are the main pro in this college they give dedicated placement training for every student in the beginning of 3rd year itself. Most of them are placed in good companies like TCS, Wipro and etc. Average package for 7 to 9 lakhs per annum. The highest salary package from the beginning is Rs. 1 crore per annum. Last year Rs. 31 lakhs is the highest salary.

There are separate hostel facilities available for both boys and girls. It has good accommodation facilities and food quality is available in this college. Mostly Chennai people are studying in this University. Mess facilities are very high class.

Infrastructure wise top notch about this college. In this college have spacious classrooms and air conditioned laboratories and have bigger auditorium with fully air conditioned by management. It have separate hostel for both boys and girls and have central library and department libraries also. In this University lot of courses are available even medicine too. In this college have specially food street.

Campus life is good because rules are liberal in this college and the main thing you must need ID card to enter in this college and good attendance Percentage to write exams. They are conducting lot of fest and events one after another. Good facilities are in this college in my department.
