Kanoria College Jaipur: Academic and Campus Review

Overall Rating
This review aims to provide overall details about my experience, which I have had so far. I chose this college because of it being affordable. It is an all girl’s college so it is quite peaceful. I honestly wish it had more practical assessments for BBA, which are included in courses of other colleges/universities. Despite that, it is still good as we get good placement opportunities and a great sports sector. The students are sent outside in sports events to represent the college on regular basis.
 

Academics Rating
I chose BBA since I wanted to try the Business field and get to know how market works. The Eligibility criterion is minimum 65% scored in 12th grade. The admission process is quite smooth, which requires us to hand a few important documents to them and within one hour, the process is completed. The main exams take place twice a year: February and July. The centers of the exam are allotted by Rajasthan University. Academics preparation by college is at average level.
The fee structure for BBA is Rs. 30,000 per annum. It is supposed to be submitted in the month of August and September. Scholarships are provided to students scoring above 92%.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is good and kind. We can approach them at any time. Teachers have pursued more than one Bachelors course, which makes them qualified to teach more students of different courses. Digital Blackboards are used to teach and group discussion activity takes place on regular basis. Presentation competitions are held where children bring new ideas for start-ups, based on what they have learned. Teachers are very supporting and helping throughout the year and try their best to make it fun for us.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell usually offers jobs to 3rd year students, meaning only 3rd year students can give interviews to the various companies that pay visit. The companies that usually visit here are Teleperformance, Genpact, etc. Packages are not more than Rs. 30,000 –Rs. 35,000 at the beginning.
 

Hostel Rating
Since it is a girls college, only girls hostel is there. The mess food is average and is provided 2 times a day. The outings are usually on Wednesday or Sunday from 12 PM or 1 PM- 5 PM. I am a day scholar so I do not have much idea about hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The Campus size is average. It is just 1 huge building with 2 floors (Ground and First) and a terrace. There's one inner lawn where the college events take place. The Classrooms seats are decent. The canteen food is average too the college can definitely improve that. The Sports area is very good and allows students to have good opportunities to play outside of Jaipur and at a higher level. The Security is strict as well.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is fine till now. There are various clubs like Swaranchal Dance and Music club, Public Speaking club, Art and Design Club, etc. I am the part of Public Speaking Club. There are various kinds of inter-college activities that are conducted on regular basis. The major fests of college are ‘Kasturi’ and ‘Saga’, which are really fun. We also have NSS in out college. The NSS camps are more fun as I myself am a part of it. Overall, it is a nice experience.

    My experience at Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya was amazing. I have grown so much there. It’s is an only girls College. It provides safety and security to the students. The College has all the facilities and the faculty is great and friendly. The council cell is also there which helps students deal with anxiety and stress.     This college has given me great experience and taught me how to stand for yourself and fight for the right.     My overall experience at Kanoria PG Mahila Mahavidyalaya was average. I joined the college in 2021 to pursue UG degree. I have done Bachelor in Arts. Talking about the college campus and infrastructure, it is spacious having different grounds and areas for different sports and activities.
