Facilities and Campus of SS Jain Subodh Mahila Mahavidyalaya

After visiting the college, I liked the overall campus and faculty. As a science student who wants to pursue her graduation in Bachelors of Arts, I do not know much about subjects. However, teachers there helped me in choosing my subjects for my major according to my interest. So if you are looking for good college. You should give a try to this college.

I chose BA for my graduation, as I want to pursue in Civil Services. For admissions, one should pass his/her 12 boards. Admission process is very simple. You need your 10 and 12 marksheet, your id like Aadhaar card and you have to fill a form regarding your personal details and your course information. Exams will hold twice a year at the end of every semester. Teachers will prepare and guide you and there will be internals and mid- terms for your internal assessment marks.

The fee for a year is Rs. 15,000 and if you have any practical subjects like geography etc. then there will be extra for practical. Registration fees will be Rs. 500 and the exam fees will be Rs. 2,500 according to your subjects. There are no others charges for library, college uniform, and identity card; all are included in the yearly fees. There are many scholarships for students and compensation for army children (i.e. 20% of the fees). You will need one identity document for army compensation.

Teachers are very well - experienced and friendly to students. classes are taken either on blackboard or in the practical room there are many group discussions, counseling sessions, activities (like debate, seminars regarding your course) etc. and students can feel free to ask teachers about their doubts. There are different faculties for every subject and my experience with teachers is very good as they will motivate you for your career and take part in your interested in co- curricular activities they will guide you on the right path for your future.

There is a placement cell in Subodh. The head of the cell is MR. Karan Sharma, who will help you in your placement and references. Companies like Genpact, Infosys will visit for placements in different fields. In addition, the packages they will provide are very good for freshers or college students and you will have a good experience and skill for future.

The campus building is very vast and has different blocks like (Science block, Geography block etc.) there is a peaceful library with all the informative books, magazines, and newspapers for students. There are labs for different streams, and a big auditorium for all the functions held in college, there is a canteen for staff and students; there are lifts for students, staff, and a medical room for any emergency. In addition, a playground for all the sports events. College will provide you good security. My favorite place is my geography lab as there we perform many interesting practical.

My overall campus life is good. It was full of learning, challenging myself for new things that are out of my comfort zone. There are many clubs and societies for students like (like dance, literature, NCC and any of other sport activity). There are many competitions like solo dance, poster making, dandiya nights, and debate. For students and every year, there will be college fests. I was in literature drama club; I really enjoyed that throughout my college and learn so many things from my teachers and classmates.
