IP College BCA Review By Kartikey Tyagi

IP College, Bulandshahr is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University. This is the best college in Bulandshahr but it is overall average college compared to other colleges. But this college is good for BCA course. This college is situated in the city area and its environment is not good. Institute also does not provide good facilities to the students. But good part is that fee is not high in the college. For the Bachelor of Computer Application course fee is Rs. 30,000 including exam fee. I choose this college because it was near my home and I regretted my decision till now because it was my worst decision to take admission in this college. I think others should not take admission in this college because there are many good college in Delhi NCR. This college is good in one thing which is discipline here.

Bachelor of Computer Application is a software course which means we learn about the computer software and various programming language and we also learn about the web development and about the computer fundamentals and operating system of the computer. We also study about the upcoming technologies like machine learning and data science. To get admission in this course student must qualify 12 standard and also qualify the merit criteria. I choose this course because I wanted get into IT company and for that I feel that this course will be good for me. Since it is affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University hence exam happens in other college. College happens each month like Class Tests and Pre University Exams. Course duration is 3 years and there are two semester in each year.

Faculty in this institute are not good. Some of the faculty members are highly qualified and have vast experience but the their style of teaching is not understandable. Most of the faculty members are not highly qualified and they have not done their PhD. Due to lack of experienced and not so highly qualified faculty members, the worst part of the college is the faculty because they give us knowledge and teach us concept that we cannot understand by ourselves. I feel that all the teacher just come to the college for attendance and they have no interest in teaching us. I think if other student have taken admission in this college and want to learn concept and want to develop skill then they should start learning from YouTube because there are many good teacher on YouTube than the college faculty.

There has no placement cell in this college and they do not even provide placement opportunities for the students. But there some chances that you can try out of campus. There are some companies that provides placement opportunity for all of the students in India. Companies like Tata Consultancy Services and Wipro Group and also Accenture provide placement opportunity for the students and also give this opportunity without charging any fee and any graduate student all over the India can sit in these placement drives. Process of these companies is that they first conduct a test which consist of subjects like Aptitude and programming followed by a Group Discussion and Interview. In my batch highest package was Rs. 7.5 LPA offered by TCS for the Digital Programmer Profile and average package was 2.1 LPA.

Hostel is not available in the college because it is a local college. Majority of the student studying here come from the range of 10 to 12 kilometers. Many PG are available around the college with good facilities like 4 time food and they also provide Wi-Fi facility. There are also many good rooms around the college which charge just 2000 per month excluding food. Pg charge generally 6000 per month and there also some high standard PG which charge 8000 per month and provide some additional facilities.

College Infrastructure is poor and there is also not proper facilities in the college. Campus does not even have a proper sports ground and also they do not even have a auditorium. There are two small academic block in the college. College is connected to the highway. This college does not even have hostel for residential students. Proper parking space is also not available in the campus. Sometimes college feel so small and it also does not have proper connection between buildings. Classrooms are average and have some amenities in the class and in the academic blocks. Some classrooms have projectors and some does not even have proper furniture. Overall this college disappoints in the area of infrastructure. One more thing about the infrastructure is that is not even well maintained and some buildings are also broken and does not have good plaster.

In this college boys to girls ratio is close to even and this is very good advantage of the college because It make the college more diverse. College organizes many workshop for the student such that student can get exposure to the cultural and technical events. No cultural fest is organized in the college which means many crowd activities happen in the college. Only independence day is celebrated as annual fest and students take participation in the event and perform. There are no club in the college and this also not so good part of the college. Life in this college is not so good because it does not provide good learning experience.
