Overall Rating
Assumption College is one of the best colleges in Kerala. Known for its academics and sports, it also has the best ecosystems and surrounding which make the college one of the best. Friendly behavior of the students and the faculties is there. This college helps the students to achieve their very best and supports the students in their talent. Assumption gives equal importance to talent and arts along with the education.
 

Academics Rating
The college provides good academics. Exams are held according to the courses. Now there are 4-year courses available. 3-year courses are available too and if you want to take Majors and Minors in a subject, it is available too. Examinations and study leaves for the same are given to the students so they can take their additional time to focus on academics along with building their skills. I have chosen B.Sc in Computer Science. My passion for studying AI and Computer technology led me to choose this course. Different courses like Economics, Chemistry English, Fashion, and many more are available in Assumption College.
Fees are lower, compared to other colleges. Scholarships and financial aids are available for the students. There are some scholarships for children of Fisherman/ Farmers, etc. which fill the amount of the fee for the students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties and students have a special bonding, making their communication and studying easier. Blackboards are used for teaching; televisions and projectors are also there in each department. Students are taken to seminars; group projects, PPTs and group discussions are also done. They can rely on library books for research and study.
 

Placement Rating
Assumption provides on 90% placements. My sister was placed at Allianz Services, Thiruvananthapuram and my senior was placed at Accenture. There are many more placements available, you could attend campus interviews and find a placement according to your will.
 

Hostel Rating
Assumption provides a good facility to stay along with great food and security for the student’s safety. There are two hostels inside the campus and outside the campus, there are 3. These hostels are for girls and there are another three hostels for boys.
 

Infrastructure Rating
College building is of 3 floors. When you enter the college, you can see the main entrance block. On the first floor itself, there is college office along with the Principal and Vice principal’s cabin. There is a Badminton court and Volleyball ground in the college. Outdoor Gym, department labs, canteen, mess, library, etc. facilities are also there. You have a lot of place to work and sit. There is a butterfly garden too.
 

Campus Rating
My campus like has been good. Fests like Annual Fest, Ethnic Day, Onam Celebration, Christmas, Fashion Shows held by the fashion department, Youth Festival, Fresher’s Day, etc are held in the college. There are many other extracurricular activities, which are conducted by the clubs and the cells of the college like the Women’s Cell, Social Cell, Peace Club, Drama Club, Music Club, etc. I am in Drama Club and Peace Club. There are many students but still the college does not feel crowded because of the campus atmosphere and its structure. Campus always keeps a peaceful atmosphere to calm the student mind.
