Exploring Campus Life in SIET Prayagraj

Overall Rating
My overall journey in this institute has been amazing and fascinating. Factor that made me choose SIET Prayagraj was this institute has everything in its infrastructure that a student needs in his/her college life. I found many things here that differ from other institutions because in this institute all the students are very free for their study and sports. Our institute has better vision and plan for their students and gives a better life for their future.
 

Academics Rating
The course I choose was due to the motivation from our seniors and my brother because they studied from this institute and now they are at very good positions in a company. You can enter in this through entrance test or through quota vacancy. For example if you given JEE Main then you can enter in this institute through counselling. Otherwise, you can take direct admission. Frequency of exam is held regularly in class though sectional or class test and main exams are held semester vise.
The annual fee is about Rs. 85,000 and this fee is reduced if you are coming from counselling through JEE main. Tuition fees and registration fees are all in one fees totally. There is a discount for multi-talented students. Scholarship is given to a counselling student and some of direct students can take scholarship too.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members and staff members are very good and have good behavior towards their students. All the faculty members are very highly skilled and all PhDs thorough Government Colleges. Method of teaching is good enough to be understood by the students. Their problem solving abilities are very good. Teacher student ratio is fine. My bonding with faculty is likely to be good.
 

Placement Rating
Placement drives are held regularly and all the students are placed through their knowledge and skills. There is a placement cell for the same. Highest package offered by institute is about 6 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Girls and boys have separate hostels. The fees are about Rs.60,000. Timing and rules are very strict for students living in the hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is in very wide area and out of city. Classroom capabilities are about 100 students in a single class. AC and good lighting for studying, furnished library and seminars halls are there. Sports and medical facilities are very good in our institute. These give you extra things apart from your studies. Canteen facility is good and gives you food that is highly hygienic and healthy.
 

Campus Rating
Overall college life gives you a lesson how to learn and find to how you live in college life. College crowd is maximum during the first half and about second half crowd is less than the first half of the day. There are 3 clubs in our college; SSC Coding Club, Robo Club, and Vridhi Club. I am a part of all these clubs. Extracurricular activities are held regularly and those who want to participate they can. Fest is held in once a year and celebration is done through all the faculty and staffs members and all the students.

    From my experience, SIET Prayagraj is an average institute where 75% attendance is mandatory to maintain. The factors that made me choose this institute is fee structure; it is respectively lesser then many other private institutes. If you are good in sports, then institute also gives opportunities for that and regularly conduct annual sports. There is no ragging here and it is the best part of it.
