Overall Rating
LR Group of Institutes is very good. I had a great experience in this institute. Here, we have many facilities like hostel, laundry, gym, and many more. Teachers of almost every field are very good. I chose this institute because it is a semi-government institute affiliated with Himachal Pradesh Technical University. Therefore, you will get a government degree, which helps a lot during placement drives.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech in CSE because there are good opportunities in this field in today's world. Eligibility criteria is just you need about 60% in your 10+2. You can directly get admission by coming to institute or you can get admission by giving the entrance exam named HPTU. Academics prepare you well for real life challenges, because you will get enough knowledge that you can get practical things by our academics.
Fee structure for Engineering in this institute is Rs. 80,000 per year or Rs. 40,000 per semester. Rs. 31,000 per semester is the hostel fee. Various scholarships are also provided.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members of almost every course in this institute are very good. If you have any doubt regarding any thing, you can ask them and you will definitely get the answer or solution. They teach us on black board and PPTs too. Teacher to student ratio is 1:20. I had a great bonding with every teacher who teaches me. You can ask any time if you got any problem.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are provided during last year. The average package is 4 LPA. Many placements related programs are held such as seminars, webinars, etc. I am currently in 3rd year, so I did not get placement.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, LR Group of Institutes provides hostel facilities. There are two hostels for boys and two for girls with almost 90 rooms in each of them. Mess food is really good and healthy. My experience is very good because seniors are also very good and cooperative.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus size is good. Every course has separate building. Classrooms are big; almost 60 students can be seated at a time. There is distinct library for every course in every building. The library of B.Tech is big. Canteen is also present in our institute. Almost all the facilities such as gym, sports grounds, and many others are provided in campus premises. My favorite thing is to just sit in the library and study peacefully.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good. The institute crowd is huge. There are many clubs in our institute like Technical Club, Sports Club, and many more. I am the head of Technical Club. Many events are held in our institute such as boxing tournament, hostel nights, and many more. Almost every festival is celebrated here. My experience is very good as I've enjoyed a lot in this institute.
