My Candid Views on P.G. Institute of Medical Sciences, Chandrakona

Overall Rating
I am doing Bachelor in Hospital Administration in this institute. Overall experience was average. The faculties are very good, well behaved towards students and very friendly and helpful. The library in the institute is also good and the environment surrounding the institute is pretty and peaceful to be at. It also has many buildings for different courses. There is an annual sport event held here at year-end. It is very enthusiastic.
 

Academics Rating
I chose this course because I was allocated in this course through JENPAS UG 2021. The entry requirements for taking admission in P.G. Institute of Medical Sciences, Chandrakona are giving the entrance exam. You can also take direct admission if you want. The course has 6 semesters. Each semester was difficult but we have passed through every one of it. This course has many subjects that you need to study and those subjects are real life based.
The fees of my chosen course are Rs. 1,80,000 of 3 years, Rs. 60,000 per year, and Rs. 30,000 per semester.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty is very friendly and helpful. Our teachers reached us whenever we needed them with exams, projects, or internships. They teach us with patience and provide us with good study materials. Their background is also very good, they are well educated and knowledgeable enough to help with different problems. Be it practical problems or be it study regarding problems. They will help as much as they can. The classrooms have whiteboards, so the teachers do not face any problem with teaching. The problem solving abilities are good too.
 

Placement Rating
There is no placement cell. They are currently working it.
 

Hostel Rating
The institute doesn't offer any residential facilities.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus's academic blocks are built well. There are many buildings for different courses in this institute under different universities. Campus size is large and the locality of the institute is less crowded, which is a good thing because we often lose focus in crowded place. My favorite thing here is the faculty and the environment of P.G. Institute of Medical Sciences, Chandrakona. The environment is very peaceful to be at. It has a beautiful garden and a little pond and lot of trees in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life at P.G. Institute of Medical Sciences, Chandrakona was average. It had a lot of pros and cons. On one hand, the teacher student relation was excellent, they helped us a lot and we also respected them and even celebrated their birthdays within our budget, but on the other hand, the institute does not have any placement criteria. That is the main con of this institute. The college crowd is huge because the institute has a lot of different courses and buildings within it.

    The Institute is moderately good for Allied and healthcare students. The fee of this Institute is affordable as compared to other Paramedical Institutions. This Institute has several courses.
