Discovering UIM Prayagraj: Academics, Placements, and Campus Life

Overall Rating
This institute provides a good placement. The campus of the institute is very beautiful with greenery. The faculties in the institute are much experienced. Many cultural events are performed that helps students to connect with their culture there are many points that sets UIM Prayagraj apart from other institutes. Some of them are its strict curriculum, regular class, and practical activities it is focus on practical learning and soft skills development their interactive teaching methods used by the experienced faculties.
 

Academics Rating
The course chosen by me was Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and my motive was to gain knowledge and experience in management. The eligibility criteria are 12th pass in any stream followed by GD and personal interview. The admission process of the institutes first you have to submit the form after that you will have a GD and the last round is personal interview. The frequency of exams is semester wise exams. This course curriculum provides a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure preparing students for real life challenge.
The fees of course is Rs. 67,800 per year for BBA. Admission and registration fees are Rs. 1,000 and Rs. 3,000 respectively. This institute provides discount on fees if you achieve 75% above marks in yearly results then you will get a discount of Rs. 10,000, if you score above than 80% then you will get Rs. 15,000 discount if you achieve above 90% then you will get Rs. 20,000. Our government also provides scholarships for meritorious students.
 

Faculty Rating
The entire faculty has postgraduate degree in their subjects. The teaching methods of faculties are PPTs, practical examples, and group discussions. The faculty members are approachable and willing to help. The teacher student ratio at the institute is 30 + faculty members for over 400 students. According to my point of view, the faculty and student have a great Bond who is very helpful and supportive. Students appreciate the supportive nature of teachers who provide help whenever needed they are approachable and students can clear doubts without hesitation
 

Placement Rating
In my institute, there is a placement cell, which is active that helps students to acquire jobs in the industry. This institute conducts training sessions, mock interview, and guest lecturers as placement activities. Many renowned companies visit the institute for recruitment. Some of them are Infosys, TCS, IBM, Accenture, and Axis Bank. Packages offered by the recruiter are average packages 3 LPA to 4 LPA and the highest package going up to 5 LPA to 8 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
The institute provides hostel facilities. There are many rooms in the hostel, I am also a hosteler. We lived like a family there. We have separate playground for juniors and seniors. Yes, the girls and boys’ hostels are separate. The mess food is good & quality hygienic. We get breakfast in morning after that, lunch is at 1:00 PM. The hostel rule and timing for strict no students were allowed to go out after 8:00 PM. there are two types of room in the hostel one is AC room and second is non AC rooms the fees of non AC room is Rs. 66,000 PA and the fees of AC rooms are Rs. 78,000 per annum.
 

Infrastructure Rating
United Institute of Management has a well structured in infrastructure that supports a conductive learning environment. The institute is located in the industrial area of Prayagraj with an extensive campus divided into two blocks. The infrastructure of campus is well equipped with modern facilities like air conditioning, projectors, and computers. the campus has a library seminar hall and canteen playground which are will maintained and provide a comfortable space for students. Medical centre is available on campus for students health needs.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life is awesome. The institute have diverse institute crowd with around 2000 students. There are various clubs in my institute including finance, marketing, HR, Chetna, and start up club. Many events are organized in my institute like freshers, DJ night, enigma, Prabandhan, and farewell. My campus life is very exciting with opportunities to learn and grow. We get many new friends some of them be very special for us. We enjoy our institute life as many extracurricular activities, sports, and cultural events are performed in this institute.

    I would like to say that I like the environment of the college and the support offered by the campus professors. The classrooms are air conditioned and have projectors.
