My View of REC Vishakhapatnam

Overall Rating
Overall experience is fabulous. The factors to choose this college are, I liked the teaching skills of faculty and the infrastructure. The campus is well maintained, and the labs are equipped with the latest technology. The library has a more collection of books, which helped me a lot in my studies. Apart from academics, there are many extracurricular activities and clubs that help students grow.
 

Academics Rating
The course chosen by me is Artificial intelligence and Machine Learning. I enrolled in this course, as it is at present a leading technology in the entire world. In present trends, it the best job to get. To get into this course in my college you have to pass the EMACT exam with good grades and you can join as management student. My academics preparation is going well.
The fee of tuition for my chosen course is Rs. 81,000 and CRT fee of Rs. 12,000 per annum.
 

Faculty Rating
My faculties are highly qualified and hold a PhD degree in their respective fields. They have years experience in teaching and specializing in Artificial Intelligence. Their method of teaching includes power point presentations, blackboard explanations, and group discussions, making the class interactive. The faculty have excellent problem solving abilities and are always ready to clarify doubts. The teacher maintains a good relationship with student, which allows for better attention to individual students. My experience with faculty is very positive, as they are approachable and supportive.
 

Placement Rating
B.Tech department last year provided internships and conducted interviews. Faculty teach the coding skills some useful subjects like CRT, it helps the students acquire jobs in the industry. Renowned companies that visit the college for recruitment give packages of about 45 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
They offer residential facilities, 2 buildings for boys and 2 buildings for girls. Around 4000 students live in the hostels. Girls and boys hostels are separate. Mess food is good, hostel fees for non AC rooms are Rs. 80,000 and AC rooms are 1 Lakh. Hostel rooms are clean and timings are 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. My personal experience is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
REC Vishakhapatnam has many blocks, namely Patel block, Sivaji, block, Vivekananda block, and C block. The campus size is about 45 acres. Each class seating is 65 members. They have facilities like library, labs, seminar hall, auditorium, conference hall, and canteen. Security is good there. The classrooms are comfortable and the canteens provide tasty and affordable food. The campus also offers good medical facilities, sports grounds and a gym for the students. Transport facilities are also available.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is good. College crowd is very humble and there are friendly people here. We do not have any clubs. REC Vishakhapatnam conducts extracurricular activities organized by the college like Dancing, and Sports Tournaments. There are cultural events organised every year, which keep the campus lovely and engaging. My experience has been positive and there is a great environment in the college.

    My overall experience in REC Visakhapatnam is better than the expected. The easy mode of admission made it the better choice of college. The strict curriculum in this college is different from other colleges. It has the best infrastructure and great canteen facilities.     The campus life at Raghu Engineering College is pleasant and vibrant for students. When it comes to infrastructure, the college is spread over 50 acres with well-maintained libraries, sports facilities, canteens, etc. and proper ventilation in classrooms and hostels. The faculty is praised by the students for their knowledge and way of approaching to the students. The placements are excellent for students who are studying in CSE branch.
