Kaziranga University: Library, Auditorium, and More

My overall experience as a student in Kaziranga University is good. I have many good friends here and faculties are helpful too. I would rate it a 4.5 out of 5. I chose this university because of the location and the fees but what made me stick to it would be the good reviews about this university and qualified faculties. The anti-ragging system is very strict.

I have chosen B.Tech CSE course here. I have been studying to become a Software Engineer and it is my dream, which is the reason why I have chosen this course. The eligibility criteria for this one here is to have at least 80% marks in 12th boards. For admission, we have to fill up the form along with submitting the documents for verification. In this course, for each semester, we have an end semester of 100 marks, which includes practicals, and 2 sessional exams of 30 marks.

Semester wise fee is Rs. 55,000 One time registration taken during admission is Rs. 20,000 Scholarship exams are held during admission period and students who clear the exam are eligible for scholarship.

Faculties teaching our course are either B.Tech Engineers or PhD professors. They mostly teach using whiteboard and use digital projectors for presentations. The problem solving ability is amazing. In addition, teacher to student ratio is quite balanced. Moreover, the teachers are very experienced and help all the students in clearing their doubts and concepts. We can either approach them anytime to clear out doubts in their cabin or though phone call. Overall, the faculties are very good, well experienced, approachable, and helpful towards the students.

The campus of The Assam Kaziranga University is quite a large. There are 2 academic blocks: the School of Business building and the new building which accommodates all other school branches. There is one library and one seminar hall in each building, an auditorium, and a conference room. In addition, there are NCC and NSS cabins. There is one canteen for both students and teachers and one medical room with a doctors and nurses. There security here is the SIS security that is quite strict to the rules and regulations of the college. Overall, it is a quite big campus and filled with greenery.

My overall campus life is fun. I have good friends and it is good to hang around or have group studies. The college crowd is also quite a bit large as there are many students from different states taking admission in different branches. There are clubs namely: NSS, NCC, Literary Club, Art & Culture Club, Body, Soul Club, etc. Extracurricular activities like cricket, basketball, football, & volleyball tournaments are held occasionally. In addition, annual fests like and techfest are held every year. This year in 2025, a new event QRST was introduced.
