Choose KRG PG College Gwalior for BBA

So my overall college experience at KRG PG College Gwalior was decent. It was sort of a dummy college and I opted it because I wanted to prepare for some competitive exam and this was same case with many students here. Though I did attend the college almost regularly, there were many students from different fields, for whom it was compulsory to attend. It was dependent on the field chosen by the students. I would say my college life although limited, but was decent. I have good memories of my college there were many students from diverse group, field and location, so it was nice to interact with everyone. The most different thing about my campus is its infrastructure.

The course I chose was BBA, and our exam took place on yearly basis. My motive behind choosing this was, I wanted to pursue MBA later on. There weren't many eligibility criteria for choosing this programme and students could easily enroll as the admission process for the same was very easy too. The subjects in my course were great. Though some changes may take place in future for the same course, all the subjects are easy to understand and could be easily self- studied.

The fees for BBA were affordable, it was around Rs. 12,000, and since I was able to apply for a scholarship, I did not have to pay any amount just minimal exam fees. That is all and anyone could apply for the scholarship after scoring a certain percentage in class 12th (80% - 85%).

The faculty for my department was great and very helpful towards students; the teachers were always available for us. The teachers there have a lot of experience and usually rely on the traditional method of study, like using chalk and a blackboard, but the way they teach things is really fun and engaging. The teacher student ratio for my department was around 1:25. It was easy for us to bond with the teachers, and they always understood our problems and helped us through difficult situations.

Mostly my college placements are average. Most students, after completing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, look for off-campus placements or maybe look to complete their further education. There is an option for off-campus placement, which is neither too great nor too bad, although teachers and other staff actively help you through the job process and prepare you for job interviews. Various seminars are conducted to develop personality and soft skills of college students. The average package for B.com is around 2,40,000 LPA.

The hostel life in my college is not too vivid, it's just fine as much as I know, because most of the students usually live around the college and don't require a hostel, same goes for me. The hostel here has basic facilities for the students and they are taken care of nicely. The hostel fee is not much and is easily affordable. If the students have complaints, or are not satisfied with something, the management makes sure that their needs are fulfilled.

Personally, for me, the best part of my college is its infrastructure. Though my college buildings are old, there is a lot of construction taking place right now, various new buildings are being set up, and there are various facilities that one could access. There is a department for each and everything one could imagine, like a Sanskrit Department, a Zoology Department, Urdu Department, etc. There are also other facilities available, like gymnasium and computer labs. There is also a Mandir on my campus, which is the most peaceful place I have seen there. There is a Sangeet room too along with various other things.

My overall campus life was decent, and the college crowd was diverse. There were many students from different backgrounds, and it was fun to interact with different people. There were many different clubs in my college, which were run by students only. One could easily participate in them according to their will. There are many competitions and fests arranged by the management for the students to engage in. I really had fun attending them with my friends.
