The Assam Kaziranga University's Facilities & Campus Life

I heard about the Assam Kaziranga University from a teacher in my school, who did his B.Sc from this university. I chose this university, as I was inspired from my teacher. Now, as I am here as a 3rd year student, my experience as a B.Pharm student is quite good. The fee is reasonable, facilities are amazing, and faculties are experienced. As this is a private university, the food and hostel facility is quite good too.

I actually wanted to pursue my career as a doctor, but as I could not get into any medical university. Therefore, I decided to do B.Pharm here. I honestly have never regretted this decision. The lab facilities and faculties are amazing. For admission in B.Pharm, a student only needs to have scored 80% marks in 12th boards. Talking about exams, the university holds 3 sectional exams and an end semester exam.

My course fees are Rs. 60,000 per semester. During admission time, there is a scholarship examination and whoever clears it receives 80% scholarship for the 1st year of university.

The faculties of my department are mostly PhD holders with many achievements and good amount of experience. Faculties mostly use whiteboards and digital projectors for presentations to make the students understand more. The teacher student ratio is balanced and all the teachers and faculties pay good amount of attention to each student, making sure all the student's doubts are cleared properly. The teachers are very friendly and approachable and do their best to clear our concepts. Students can approach them at any time for clearing doubts.

The campus is very large and full of trees. There is a university building and hostel building inside the campus. Classrooms are quite large, with a capacity of 100 students. There are 2 libraries, many labs, 2 seminar halls, and an auditorium. 3 Fields for different sports, a basketball court, and a badminton court is there. A canteen and a medical room for the students as well as the faculty are given. My favorite part of the university is the Kaziranga spot, which is an amazing place to sit and hangout with friends.

My overall campus life has been quite good in these 3 years. I have good friends to hang out and have fun with. The university crowd is quite good and filled with people of different states and culture. Talking about clubs, there is the NCC, NSS, Body and Soul Club, Literary Club, etc. that bring out the best in students. Different fests are held, like the annual fest and annual sports event. My experience here has been a really amazing one.
