Fees and Financial Aids in MMCC Pune

My overall experience at the college is quite impressive. I like the college. I chose this course as it is very easy to peruse. The college does not force a lot for attendance and hence it is easy for the students to do professional courses alongside. The college also organises fests time to time making it interesting for students. The fees are very reasonable and the facilities provided are amazing. The infrastructure of the college is quite impressive for the fees. They offer many facilities easily accessible for students. Sports meets are also conducted time to time.

I have opted for the Bachelor of Commerce course at the Marathwada Mitra Mandal college of campus, Pune. My main motive for choosing this course was it being very easy. This helps students in building their commerce base stronger. The admission process of the college is also very convenient. In the course, the frequency of exams conducted is semester wise, as in every six months and the complete course is of 4 years as per the new education policy and thus consists of total 8 semesters (2 semesters each year). The academics prepare us for the real life challenges very well. The college makes us industry ready.

The fees are very reasonable and affordable for all types of students. I have paid Rs. 7,130 per year. This amount includes tuition fees amount, admission fees and registration fees. Other than this, we have to pay exam fees every semester and that is reasonable. The students who join through grant like I did, get a discount in fees as they are selected on merit basis. The fees are usually around Rs. 18,000 but I paid less because of grant. This is like a financial aid provided by the college. The college does not provide any direct scholarships.

The faculty members teaching the course B.Com are supportive, talented and very cooperative. The teachers assist the students very well in all the assignments, projects and events. The background of the faculty members is good as they are all selected through extreme qualifications. The teachers use blackboards and sometimes projectors for presenting PPTs. Some of the teachers also encourage group discussions in the class to encourage learning and enhancing communication skills. The problem solving ability of the teachers is tremendous. They are extremely talented in the subjects they teach. The student teacher ratio is about 80:1. The teachers are approachable and I am never shy or uncomfortable to interact with them.

The college placements are great. About 80% of students are placed. The highest package offered for B.Com course at this college is 5 LPA-6 LPA. About 90% of the students get internships easily with this course at the position of Bank Accountants etc. There are many seminars and guest lectures conducted in the college for increasing placements of students by training them to be industry ready. These activities and programs conducted in the college related to placements are very beneficial for the students.

The college does not have hostel facility present and thus the students stay near or away from college. The rooms and PGs near to the college are easily available and affordable and the students staying far have means of transport at walking distance, thus making it convenient.

The infrastructure of the college is quite impressive for the fees. They offer many facilities such as equipped classrooms, computer labs and an easily accessible library for students. They also have canteen facility inside the college itself. The campus has different academic blocks for higher secondary i.e. 11th 12th standard, Architecture Department, Commerce Department, Law etc. The campus size is a little small. The locality of the college campus is awesome. There are parks nearby and it is in the main city area, thus making it more accessible. The college has ample amount of parking space for the students and teachers. The canteen, medical facility and security are to be praised. My favorite part of the college infrastructure would be its library.

I love it here. My overall campus life is amazing. The college crowd is not that good, but I actually like it here because of the friends I have. Though, I do not go to college very often, but the teachers and classmates are very welcoming. There are many clubs such as Art Club, Dance Club etc. These clubs keep doing different activities such as decorating the college, making Warli paintings on the walls, etc engaging students in fun activities. The college also organizes fests and events that are very fun. These extracurricular activities and annual fest also include days such as Retro Day, Bollywood Day, Traditional Day, Ethnic Day, etc. The events here are very happening. Therefore, my experience of college is quite good.
