Admissions in CEC Visakhapatnam' Diploma Course: POLYCET and Fees

Overall experience at Chaitanya Engineering College is very good. With your friends, it would be just awesome. College is surrounded by green fields and trees. It has budget friendly fees structure for your selected course all the faculty’s members are friendly and well educated. College has its own hostel, canteen, and many other facilities are available in this college. This college conducts many fests and also participates into state government conducted fests and sports tournaments.

The eligibility criteria or the requirement for joining this college is after passing out 10th standard, you should give an entrance exam conducted by the state government. The entrance exam name is POLYCET. Admission process is very simple, you just have to go to this college and take part in counseling. After counseling, pay admission fees, that is all. It conducts class tests every week. This is a 3 years course. In first year, a single board semester exam will conducted at the end of the year. In second year, two-board semester exams will conduct. In third year, a board semester will conduct and industrial training will also be started. You should attend industrial training, complete your work, and secure your marks because in training, it also conducts an exam and this exam is also important.

Fee structure can be changed according to your chosen course or branches. Roughly, the tuition fees start from Rs. 45,000 and it goes over Rs. 85,000 per year. An admission fee is approximately Rs. 3,500. Scholarship also available for this college. For SC students, college management may minimize the fee structure.

Teaching staff is very good and understanding. Faculty has practical knowledge and they teach us perfectly by explaining every thing. In the classroom, teachers explain us on the blackboard. There are a few group discussions in the classroom. All faculty members are well educated and well qualified, e.g. Bachelors, Masters, and PhD. Teachers are always available for students for any subject issue, question problem solving, or studying issue in academic days. For every subject, there is a teacher. All teachers are active in student teachers college groups and provides all updates about our curriculum and study purpose.

Many private limited companies and industries offer industrial training for the better knowledge and experience that will very helpful for job. many companies offers for job like HL Mando Corporation, GE Aerospace, Efftronics, Royal Enfield, IRSM Pvt. Ltd, etc.

College has hostel facility. Yes, girls and boys’ hostels are separate. Quality of mess food is good; they serve 4 meals in a day: breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. Annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student. Hostel does not have Wi-Fi though. Hostel rules are very strict.

Campus of Chaitanya Engineering College is surrounded with green fields and trees with fresh air, beautiful views of the hills make this college even more beautiful. Campus size is very huge. There are3 blocks, 2 workshops, 2 hostel blocks, a hostel mess, 3 big play grounds, a canteen, empty places, large walk way road. This campus is far away from traffic and sound pollution. Classrooms are very spacious and big. We have a library and they provide many books for Diploma, B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA students. College has its own seminar hall, auditorium and conference hall. Computer labs are very big but some computers are not working properly. If we talk about transport, there are less APSRTC buses are coming and college buses are also less.

This is one of the crowded colleges in the city of destiny. My overall campus life is good. There is no club in the campus. College conducts many events, games, sports, annual fest and college also participate in government conducted fests and extra curriculum activities or events like sports and games. My experience is very good because of its peaceful location.
