About My Experience in IIHMAHS Kalyani

Overall Rating
Overall, IIHMAHS Kalyani is all good. The main factor that made me choose this Institute was this was the nearest Institute from my home, which offers Bachelor in Hospital Administration course. In addition, the number of available seat also has a crucial role in opting for this Institute. The overall experience in this institute during my course my quite good. Students who want to make their career in Healthcare sector, can opt for this Institute
 

Academics Rating
I chose to pursue Bachelor in Hospital Administration from this Institute since I wanted to work in the Healthcare sector in future. The entry requirements were quite easy, students need to obtain minimum 50% marks in their secondary and higher secondary examination. Then they need to take the entrance examination. In case of admission, after the examination, there was choice-filing process where I select this Institute.
The fee structure was Rs. 29,000 per semester, which includes tuition fee, travel fee, sports and cultural program fee, etc. Various scholarships are available here for students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members in IIHMAHS Kalyani were very knowledgeable and helpful. We shared a good teacher-student bonding during the course. The faculties were very good at explaining the topics in detail and in problem solving, which helps us gaining the needed knowledge. There were various methods of teaching like boards, PowerPoint presentations, group discussions, etc. which help us to see the topics from different perspectives. The teacher-student ratio in the Institute was also good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus’ academic block was in construction phase when we started our course. Later it was completed during our course. The campus size is not that much big. Each of the classrooms is big enough for having the students. There was a library and seminar hall in our Institute. We used to play football or cricket in a nearby playground. There was couple of books in the library, which were useful for our courses.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life was good. There were few clubs or committees in the Institute focusing on different activities. As an example, I was the member of cultural committee, which focuses on conducting various cultural activities in the Institute. We conducted tree plantation program, Saraswati puja, blood donation camps, annual programs, sports events and many more. There was an annual fest too which was conducted by the cultural committee.
