TKM College of Engineering: Journey to Success

Overall Rating
TKM College of Engineering is a leading government aided Engineering college in Kerala with highest intake of students per year, good infrastructure, and top faculties. It is well-equipped laboratories, library, and hostel facility for both boys and girls. College is very different from others in the way of teaching and responsibility of the faculty in nurturing the minds of the students, making them achieving the course objective and vision of the institution. Factors that made me chose this college is its ranking by various categories.
 

Academics Rating
The course I chosen was Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Production Engineering. The College is the only got aided college providing this course. Entry requirement and eligibility is 12th pass with 60 in PCM and KEAM entrance examinations. Admission is done directly from the commissioner of entrance examinations, end semester. Exam is done at the end of each semester and. series exam by every 3 months or by completing 3 modules. The syllabus and scope of the course is well defined and designed to meet the demand of the future.
Rs. 1,500 was taken as caution deposit. Special discounts are given to SC & ST students with full waiver of college fee.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members are either M.Tech holders or PhD holders with specialization in their sphere of knowledge. Method of teaching is in classrooms. The faculties are able you guide us in every aspect of the course. There is a faculty for four students. For the final year project, we can get guidance from them.
 

Placement Rating
TKM College of Engineering has good placements through collaboration with companies startups and MNCs renowned companies that visit include Tech Mahindra, Infosys, TCS, Tata Elixir, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, the college has hostel facility for both girls and boys.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The College is well equipped with library, labs seminar halls, auditorium conference hall, CAD lab, IEDC lab, language lab, etc. the college also has a dedicated centralized canteen sports, medical room ample transport facilities and 24/7 security. The College is also equipped with badminton court, Basketball court, squash court, football and cricket ground. It also contains gym and other recreation spaces.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is excellent. College has an intake of more than 800 per year making a large group of students pan four years. There are many student clubs headed by the College Union such as drama club, music club, badminton club, football club, etc. Hestia is the annual techno-cultural fest conducted by the College. Every year, many students from all over the country come to participate in various sports events. My experience is excellent.

    Overall Rating
    Quality of faculty and teaching methods is good. Availability of resources such as libraries, labs, and online tools are there. The main factors for which I choose this particular college is the affordable tuition fee and other miscellaneous expenditures. Large variety of clubs and other facilities include Dance clubs, libraries, etc. The main difference I would like to share about my college is the Nature which is being surrounding the entire college and many others....
