SVPCET Nagpur: All Aspects

Overall Rating
SVPCET is something that only Nagpurians will know much about. When it comes to study and strictness, no college is even a competition for us. Regulations and rules all are very strict here but in a way, that has taught us discipline and punctuality. So for now, since I have completed two years at my college, punctuality and discipline are the two biggest takeaways I have taken from my college life.
 

Academics Rating
Academics have been fantastic so far and have always come good. Nagpur has a lot of engineering colleges and all are mighty good but, talking specifically about our college we are not ranked as high as some of them but the level of commitment that our college has shown in academics even those top ranked colleges can't match.
SVPCET Nagpur’s fee is 1.3 Lakh for an academic year and scholarships as high as 50% are available. Reserved students fees is Rs. 75,000 a year and likewise many other scholarships are available for students.
 

Faculty Rating
Studying engineering is like studying in the highest-pressure environment and our faculties somehow have absorbed that pressure. They do not just teach us but train us as Electrical Engineering is obviously is not easy. However, faculties have ensured that it does not matter which engineering we are pursuing we still can contribute and there is a lot which electrical engineers can do which others cannot. Therefore, the motivation from them is the biggest key for me.
 

Placement Rating
Bosch, Accenture and likewise many top companies where electrical engineers can contribute come for placements here. On an average 6 LPA- 7 LPA is the package provided.
 

Hostel Rating
Both boys and girls hostel facility is provided by the college.
 

Infrastructure Rating
From the gate of the main building of the college, just 50 meters inside the campus you feel or rather breathe a different air. This is because our campus has a lot of greenery. There are two canteens and 4 labs. There is a one small seminar hall and one large seminar hall. Guest lectures are quite frequent there. The campus is quite big.
 

Campus Rating
Student interaction is what makes campus life worth the while and because it is an all engineering college, we eat, sleep and repeat engineering talks. Hence, you automatically develop an engineering mindset here. Our college is quite strict and disciplined but during our annual cultural fest ‘Insight’, we have full freedom for a couple of days while the fest is on.
