My Personal opinion on GIBS New Delhi: Best One in the City

Overall Rating
Gitarattan International Business School located in sector 14 Rohini, and is affiliated to Guru Govind Singh Indraprastha University. The college is specialized and ranked A grade by NAAC in the programs of Law And Management. The college is more towards practical orientation and implementation rather than just theory. It emphasis on students to deal with real world problems with conducting regular field visits. It offer various programs like BBA (Hons.), BBA General, B.A.LL.B, BBA LL.B, MBA, MBA Integrated.
 

Academics Rating
I am currently pursuing BBA LL.B from GIBS. This program helps me to initiate my skills towards business applications and gain legal knowledge as well. The college provides practical exposure by conducting regular visits and moot court competitions. To get enrolled in any law course, one must clear the CLAT examination and for management program, one must clear IPU CET for Under Graduate and CAT for Post Graduate. The college, for internal assessments, takes PPTs, VIVAs, etc. to boost the overall confidence of student and help to improve communication skills.
The fees structure given by IPU is followed. I paid Rs. 1,48,000 as my first year fees for integrated law program. The fees significantly reduced from Rs. 10,000- Rs. 15,000 in second year. Any scholarship or financial aid is directly provided by IPU.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of GIBS New Delhi is highly appreciating. Faculty members create a bridge to connect with students and listen to their problems. Counselling is also provided to students to deal with personal and professional issues. Teachers are mostly NLU and IIM qualified. All faculty have different method of teaching, but mostly they use PPTs and group discussion to engage student interaction. The teachers solve the problem of students within the lectures and even after college timings. Faculty members are highly approachable we can freely talk to them about every issue.
 

Placement Rating
The placement cell of GIBS New Delhi conducts placements as well as internship drives, to help students to gain a practical exposure of the real world. Various companies such as Bajaj Alliance, Sharks of Law, etc. come and recruit students often.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no hostel facility as most of the students are day scholars only. However, if there is any outside Delhi students, there are proper PGs are suggested to them.
 

Infrastructure Rating
GIBS New Delhi has two buildings; one for law department and one for management department. The classrooms are fully centralised and have a capacity of 40 students in each room. There are common rooms, sports room, auditorium, labs and library for welfare of students. The college provides medical facilities to students and has a specific medical room. There is a special moot court hall for law students for their practice of competition.
 

Campus Rating
The overall life here is amazing. There are various clubs and societies in which students can engage and showcase their talents. I am a core member of the Photography society i.e. ‘Frames’ of our college. Regular guest lecturers and fun events take place to reduce the academic stress of students. There is an annual cultural fest named ‘Zenith’, which is organised by college every year in month of February. Many celebrities and singers such as Jassie Gill and Milind Gaba have performed in the fest. The overall life is full of exciting experiences and knowledge.

    It is a pretty average college with average placements. But teachers and faculty are nice; they are highly qualified. I chose this college as it was close to my home and I got this college allotted in the entrance test of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. Fees for a middle class student are a bit high....
