About AIT Bangalore: All the Aspects

Overall Rating
My overall experience at AIT Bangalore is good. From the beginning, the environment of campus was welcoming and filled with greenery. This institute provides a good balance of academics and extracurricular activities. The factor that made me to choose the particular institute was its reputation. It has established in the year 1980 and it is one of the oldest engineering institutes in Bangalore, and the institute is affiliated to VTU but now it has autonomous status.
 

Academics Rating
The course, which is chosen by me, is Artificial Intelligence And Machine Learning. I preferred this course because of my interest in AI and Machine Learning. The eligibility criteria are the student must have passed their 10 + 2 exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Math as compulsory subjects with at least 50% aggregate marks. They also need to appear for and clear either the KCET or COMEDK entrance exam.
The fess structure varies from branch to branch and for AI&ML, through KCET it is around 1lakh. Through COMEDK, it lies around 3.2 Lakh, including lab fees and for students who are seeking admission through management the fee is Rs. 3,50,000 yearly.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties in our Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning department are supportive, knowledgeable and they are approachable. Their method of teaching depends on the need of that particular subject, if it require board they are ready with that or if the topic require PPT then PPT is used and almost all our faculty members have Doctoral Qualifications and their problem solving abilities are really very good.
 

Placement Rating
Around 30 to 35 companies visited our institute in 2024 and average package offered was 4 LPA.
 

Infrastructure Rating
AIT Bangalore has a large and green campus spread across approximately 25 acres it offers a peaceful environment. It has open spaces, and walking paths make the campus feel pleasant and comfortable throughout the day and academic blocks and structure are above average. The classrooms have a seating capacity of around 70 and are descent. Library is very well maintained too.
 

Campus Rating
Overall the campus life over here is descent I say, the students come from different parts of Karnataka and other state as well which creates a nice mix of culture and backgrounds. There are very few active clubs and there are total 3 major fest in our institute one in ‘Maitri’ and another one is ‘Kannada Kalarava’ these happen during our odd sem and another one is ‘Sanskruthi’ which happens during our even sem.

    Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology is good. The faculties are very helpful in our studies. They support us for our academics and extracurricular activities. They taught us coding and other useful things for our bright future. The experience and bonding of the Institute faculty members is too good. The faculties are good.     The Institute is good as per placements. B if we talk about enjoyment that it somewhere lacks in this factor. I chose this Institute for its good placement record. It has only 4 fests that are organized annually. The Institute is under VTU, but it is an autonomous Institute. The Institute infrastructure is too good as compared to other Institutes.     Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology is one of the best Institutes in entire Bangalore. I am very glad to be a student of this institute. Everything is good in this institute except few things. Faculty, lab, classroom, building, canteen, sports complex, and hostel everything is good. The placement options are also many. It even conducts institute fests and branch fests in every semester.     This institute has a very reputable position when looked towards universities and colleges. This institute has its very own ground where students can play cricket, football, volleyball, etc. In the institute, the institute faculties are very supportive and helping when asked for help.
