Exploring Campus Life in VSPM's College of Physiotherapy, Nagpur

Overall Rating
VSPM'S college of Physiotherapy has many updated facilities. These help in overall development of the student. Teachers are helpful. Practical knowledge and patient exposure is also there. Transport facility is possible with metro, and classes are regular. NAAC accreditation is also there. Recently Physiotherapy museum has also been made for the students. The college also has attached Lata Mangeshkar hospital that gives students good exposure.
 

Academics Rating
I am currently pursuing BPTH from here. This college is affiliated with MUHS, Nashik. Entry requirements are securing qualifying scores in NEET UG examination and passing 12th in science stream. Admission process of this college is through NEET counseling itself that includes many rounds. Academics specially prepare you for real life challenges well. University exams are conducted yearly with end terms and prelims.
I paid Rs. 1,27,000 including admission, development and tuition fees. Different scholarship schemes are also available.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty teachers include associate and assistant professors for each department. Multiple methods are utilized to teach students so that they can grasp easily like Powerpoint presentations and black board. Different educational videos are also showed. Problem solving abilities of teachers are good. They all are approachable. The group discussions and case presentations are also conducted many times. Teacher student ratio is also convenient.

Hostel facilities are provided here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
MUHS, Nashik has 4 colleges under it, for MBBS, Dental, Nursing and Physiotherapy. Campus is good and has canteen is also there. Yellow cafe is also there. On entrance, there is Siddhi Vinayak temple, which is very beautiful. A big sports ground, gym, and a separate Physiotherapy OPD, is also there. Security is also tight. All these facilities compliment my course and academic experience.
 

Campus Rating
Our college has two annual fests that are conducted regularly. One is department wise and one is conducted during Ganpati festival (GFC). There are many clubs in college like Rotaract college, NSS, etc. that are really nice and helpful to improve socially. Student council is also there that includes teachers and student representatives. My overall experience in this college is fair enough. Campus life is also good. Many extracurricular activities are also conducted throughout the year.

    Overall experience is really nice. Academics, clinical exposure, relaxation, breaks, campus is really nice including library and even batch mates. Attached hospital is really very helpful which you may not find in other colleges. So consider this college if you want to pursue Physiotherapy as a career.
